Room Size and lack of things in the room

when I arrived there was no water coming out of my sink and I didn’t get a proper blanket. I talked to the staff and got everything fixed on the same day. Don’t hesitate to talk to the people there, they are very friendly and open to help. In general it wasn’t the cleanest hotel I have stayed in but I think that is valid if we look at the price.

We had booked a room from 12th March to 15th March. Before our stay ended, the hotel owner called and informed us that they had another booking on 15th March and would shift us to a different property. He assured us that it would be at the same price since we had already booked this hotel for three days, so we agreed.

However, on 15th March, when we moved to the other hotel, we were asked to pay extra. When we contacted the original hotel owner, he denied his earlier commitment and said we had to pay more because it was a “luxurious property.”
What was most disappointing was his behavior on the call. He spoke very rudely and even used abusive language like "Bawali Gand", saying, “Ab rehna hai waha toh raho, warna raho bahar.”

This is completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Guests deserve honesty and basic respect.

My stay at Big House Inn, Calangute was a horror movie from start to finish. This isn't just a bad hotel; it’s a predatory scam run by bullies.

The Deception: Before I paid, they were 'sweet' and 'welcoming.' It was all a fake act. The room they gave me was a nightmare—nothing like the beautiful photos online. It was a tiny, cramped, smelly box that felt like a basement.

The Scam: Right away, they started pressuring me to cancel my online booking and pay them directly in cash. This is a huge red flag! They do this so they can cheat the booking system and prevent you from leaving a real review when things go wrong.

The Infestation: In the middle of the night, the nightmare turned physical. The bed was infested with bedbugs. I was being bitten and crawled on. It was absolutely revolting. When I went to the desk at 11:00 PM, covered in bites and shaking, I didn't get help—I got attacked.

The Aggression: The staff turned into total thugs. They shouted at me, fought with me, and demanded 'proof' like I was a criminal. When I showed them a clear photo of the bedbug, they laughed and told me to 'stop the drama for just one bug.' They have zero soul and zero respect for human beings.

The Midnight Eviction: Because I stood up for myself, they kicked me out of the hotel in the middle of the night. I was stranded in Calangute at midnight with nowhere to go because I refused to stay in a bug-infested hole.

Big House Inn is a biohazard and a scam. They will take your money, treat you like garbage, and leave you on the street. If you value your safety and your health, DO NOT BOOK HERE. Go anywhere else!
