Interesting hotel in Mayville, best for a group of friends or family.
Pros:

It was interesting. They are making a good effort but finishing touches would help.

Cons:

Did not know room frig was not on and wasted the food I bought. Also did not know microwave was a community one

We had a nice stay. Liked that it was different than a chain hotel. We would stay again.
Pros:

Ambiance and tall ceilings were nice. Room was large.

Cons:

Toilet needed to be flushed 2-3 times to empty but it did. Loved the tile floor in the bathroom. The stand alone a/c unit was loud.

Good other than check in
Pros:

Beautiful building, clean and comfortable

Cons:

Couldn’t get in at check in time. Door locked, called the phone number on the door and no answer. Thankfully within 10 minutes another person staying there let us in and we were able to push inside help button. Had 30 minutes to get ready for a wedding so in a rush as it was.

Pros:

The location is excellent. The air conditioning was superb. It is so close to the marsh and a lovely town to walk around in. The staff was kind and thoughtful and the facilities were very clean.

Lovely quiet spacious room
Pros:

Lovely restoration of a gorgeous historic hotel. Spacious suite and bath with large whirlpool tub. Thick fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Very friendly staff showed us the bar and restaurant area and told us about plans to open them later this summer.

Cons:

AC only in the sleeping room, not in the sitting room. Bar and restaurant not yet opened, plans to open later this summer. Coffee stations on each floor but no water. Brought water from our room by the cupful!

Pros:

Never got to stay there. Bought the room for my son and daughter in law for a getaway. They were turned away and stated that the room that was booked shouldnt have been. They ended up going someplace else. Then they kept calling me to see when I was going to check in.

Cons:

Very bad experience.

This is a very historic property in a quiet location of the town.
Pros:

The historical features of the property. The bathroom had a very large jacuzzi/tub.

Cons:

The staff called us before our stay which was nice but then... the front desk was unattended most of the time. We like to see a friendly face greeting us in the morning!

Pros:

Nothing...it smelled bad
..the guy at the desk could barely speak English ND was worthless... and the ceiling was leaking with dirty towels to catch the leak..
We ran out the door and contacted booking.com and have gotten no anwwr.

We liked nothing...total bad experience
