We had no complaints

The accommodation was not worth the price I paid for it. Not sure if they jacked up the prices because of the BTS concert that was happening that time but that definitely was not worth 2kAUD for 3 nights. They did not provide any electric fan or any cooling device when there was a heatwave at that time. We had to open up the windows to let some air in, which led to to street noise being heard. The toilet was not that clean either.

Unfortunately, this wasn't the right choice for us. We had already stayed here about a year before, so we trusted we would have a good experience. Nonetheless, this time it didn't meet our expectations. First, considering the heat wave, I asked for a couple of fans to be provided. The staff responded really quickly and nicely, but they offered they might be able to provide only one. I felt pushed to insist that there are two rooms, so we needed two. We were aware that the mattress on a sofa-bed tends to be soft, but we didn't expect to find the same one on the main bed. Lastly, only days before, they emailed to say our room was on the last floor (no elevator). Unfortunately, my 80-year-old mother fell and was on a cast and wheelchair just before coming to Brussels, so I asked if we could please have a room on the first floor. Their answer was that they were wishing us the best, but couldn't do anything to help because we had booked that specific room. I don't know where on the booking it specifically says the floor I am choosing (and I would as a guess be accommodating to others if the staff contacted me to ask if I could change with another family in this situation). I know the accident is not on them, but I was disappointed that they did so little to help. Again: I will repeat our first experience wasn't bad, but this time we were very uncomfortable.

We were very disappointed with this experience. The apartment was extremely stuffy, poorly ventilated, and felt uncomfortable despite opening the doors and windows. Because of my wife’s and my children’s allergies, we had to leave the apartment on the same day for health reasons.
We immediately informed the host and requested a refund, but no refund was provided. Instead, we had to book alternative accommodation at our own expense. We believe the property did not meet the expectations created by the listing or the price we paid. We hope Booking.com will review this property carefully to help prevent other families from experiencing the same situation.

- We stayed for 6 nights. On the 3rd day, we requested cleaning and fresh towels. However, the host informed us that cleaning is not provided for stays shorter than one week. They also said that towels could only be changed if they had very large stains. I think that for stays longer than 3–4 days, the apartment should be cleaned, or at least an easy-to-use vacuum cleaner should be provided so that guests can clean the apartment themselves.
- There is no washing machine inside the apartment(apartment with terrace). However, there is a washing machine and a dryer available in a shared area of the building.
- There is no door between the kitchen and the room with the sofa. The door in the kitchen that opens onto the terrace is locked. Since the kitchen is not well ventilated, cooking smells spread into the other room and can linger in the apartment. There is an extractor hood above the stove, but it is not very effective.
- The bathroom drain does not drain the water efficiently enough, so water accumulates in the bathroom and takes a long time to go away.
- Odors from the bathroom/toilet and steam from the shower are not efficiently removed. The bathroom ventilation is inadequate.
- Due to the rug-like floor coverings and the very large curtains used in the apartment, the dust load seems quite high. People with dust or dust mite allergies may need to be extra careful.
- The area described as a terrace is not really suitable for use. Calling the cushions on the hanging chair dirty would be an understatement.
- Only 4-digit codes are used to open both the building entrance door and the apartment door, and these codes are probably not changed very frequently. While inside the apartment, it is not possible to additionally lock the door mechanically with a key or thumb turn lock from the inside. This made us feel unsafe.

Too much sunlight in the mornings and no basic necessities like salt, pepper, oil, tea etc provided in kitchen.
