Great place to stay in central Sheffield
Pros:

In a great location for exploring and going out in central Sheffield. Near lots of lovely bars and restaurants. Clean and comfortable rooms, and a great shower.

Historic city center stay
Pros:

The historic hotel, quite nice if you're looking for the old town vibe. Good steak restaurant downstairs. Overall warm, good beds, quite cozy.

Cons:

My room wasn't properly cleaned when I arrived, but the staff was helpful so everything was solved at the end.

Damp small and prrof of damp in window frames, window bay and skirting. Was not good.

Damp and damp smell in the window and window bay. Room smwlt very bad. Room 19. Rest of rooms looked ok when i peaked into them next morning.

Has put me off staying therw again. They really need to sort this out.

Pros:

Location. Quiet. Comfortable and very clean. Slept very well.

Cons:

It was a little cold and the heater although working didn’t really seem to heat up the room very much. But a tiny thing in what was a lovely restful night.

Unpretentious, but delivers exactly what it promises
Pros:

This was a very pleasant experience. The hotel is usefully located in the city centre, a five minute walk from the station. The rooms are standard 3-star fare, not huge but adequately spacious, well-laid out and very clean. What marked this out was the friendliness and willingness to help of every staff member we encountered. We were given helpful advice at every turn and were able to leave our luggage after check-out, which was most convenient. Breakfast was very decent, too.
