Pros:

Haven of peace and quiet, very easy to reach by car from the Motorway. The hosts were very friendly.

Peaceful and beautifully decorated home and garden, just off the motorway.
Pros:

The location is great, only a few minutes off the motorway and yet in the peaceful countryside. Lovely restful garden. Beautiful house. Spacious bedroom with comfy bed, appears to be all recently upgraded as en suite shower room looks new, paintwork and decor all fresh. Lovely hostess, warm and welcoming. A great place to break a long journey if you are touring as it is not far to Athlone which is a major intersection of many different motorways

Cons:

Breakfast not provided, apart from cereal and coffee, but didn't make any much difference to me.

Lovely stay, would go back!
Pros:

All was great, there was a small fridge on the landing with milk in it for the cereal, tea and coffee that was provided. Also some handy leaflets for things to do in the area. Bed was really comfy, bathroom was nice and all was very clean. Location was a bit in the middle of nowhere but we knew that - you need a car to get there or taxi. Host was very helpful and chatty, gave us extra water when we ran out of the one that was included.

Cons:

No public transport and no shops in walking distance so bear this in mind if you don't have a car. No kitchen or food prep facilities included.

Great nights sleep. Comfy, cosy and nice and quiet. Recommend
Pros:

Spacious room, bed and pillows super comfy and the room was really toasty and warm at all times. Water tea coffee etc all provided and the cereal was a nice touch. My young daughter woke up hungry and had a bowl of cornflakes so this was a nice touch.

Cons:

The main negative for me was the smell when we came into the house. I think the owners had a dog in the house so it was a stuffy, musty, animal smell. There were shoes lying at the front door too. Maybe a little basket or container with a lid for shoes- I’d like to walk into somewhere and feel it fresh and clean. First impressions mean a lot but other than that it was ideal for what we needed.

Great hosts, lovely guest house!
Pros:

We enjoyed our stay, it's a lovely house in gorgeous rural surroundings. It was easy to find and close proximity to the town by car. The room was nice and comfortable. Fiachra was the perfect host, really welcoming and helpful with recommendations around the area.

Cons:

Not a negative but if there was an option for a cooked breakfast it would be nice. However, there is cereal, tea/coffee and a fridge with fresh milk for those who like cereal :)
