The Islands at Mauna Lani Point - CoralTree Residence Collection

My family absolutely loves it here.

I suggest owners and guests leave their cell phones off at the pool and take personal calls in the club area or in their own condo. Please be respectful of others. Maybe a new pool rule for no cell phones?

We listened to personal and business calls every day at the pool.

Stayed in a beautifully updated 2 bedroom unit. F206. Great view, golf discount with this unit, free parking. Pool area was about a block away, easy walking distance. Barbecues, outside kitchen, tables & chairs, and sitting area all at the pool.
-Beach Club was farther so had to drive. Nice calm beach, great snorkelling. Great restaurant at the beach, there are some lounge chairs & cabanas available for free for guests staying at the resort, but have to arrive early. Best bet is to bring your own. The unit we stayed in did not have beach chairs, so would have to rent. Lots of trees & shade available.
-A short 10 minute drive to Waikoloa, where there are more restaurants & shopping. There is a shopping area at Mauna Lani, with a few casual restaurants, & a grocery store. Better shopping in Waikoloa area. The golf course is beautiful. Plan to cook at the condo, or plan to drive to Waikoloa for restaurants.
- Lava Lava Beach Club was great food on a beach location.
-Merrimans in Waimea was best meal we had on island. Service & food was outstanding. Didn't realise that Waimea was the original location. About a 30 minute drive.
-Napua Beach Club, we had lunch (very mediocre) & dinner which was very good, beautiful setting. The bar area at Napua Beach Club was very nice, great place to have a drink at Sunset. (Although we did go on a night where a group of local folks had obviously been drinking for a bit, & were loud & confrontational)
We hadn't been to Big Island in about 10 years, travel to Maui every year. Big difference in choice of restaurants available, shopping was disappointing. Would have loved to find a great breakfast spot. Maybe if we had driven back into Kailua-Kona, there would have been more options. (45 minutes)
Maui offers so many more choices in dining, local options, casual & fine dining. Loved the golf, but it was very windy during our stay. Played both Mauna Kea & Mauna Lani courses.

Beautify scenery, well kept, very peaceful, quiet. Golf courses were in great shape. Everyone was super friendly. Good restaurant options. beach and pool were well kept as well

We had a great time with our 3 kids. It was friendly, easy for the kids and very clean. The beaches were private and never crowed. The pool was perfect, clean and everything was so easy. Staff was great to help with anything we had like a luau recommendation.

This condo was AMAZING! Clean, spacious, everything was stocked up! It was worth every penny. It honestly felt like home for the 2 weeks we stayed. Usually you have to get your own things at air bnb but this they had extra of everything. If you needed anything it was just a text away and the response time was impeccable. Honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. Thank you guys so much for making this family vacation so

Fantastic place, comfortable furniture, nice bathrooms, big kitchen, shopping and beach club near by, nice pool. Amazing views. Had the opportunity to snorkel and enjoy the experience of swimming surrounded by beautiful fish.

My husband and I loved the spacious two-bedroom first-floor apartment with a patio that opened up to a lawn with an unobstructed view of the ocean. It was absolutely quiet and peaceful. The resort has a nice grocery store, restaurants, great snorkeling, all sorts of birds and tropical fish, great sunset views, a nice pool/jacuzzi club house. A special word of thanks is due to the concierge (Marvellee), who checked in with us daily for anything we needed and was very accommodating. Mauna Lani really exceeded our expectations.

Great place for a family

This is our second time to MaunaLani Point. As is expected the service was excellent. The only issue was that that unit was dated including the bathrooms. Staff was great and the property itself was top notch

Best spot on the Big Island. These condos are great. Close to ocean and golf. Quick trip from the airport. Easy check in and check out and the Coral Tree team is amazing. I would go here with a couple or with a family. If you are looking for a perfect spot on the Big Island this is it!

Mauna Lani Point was paradise on earth. You can't beat the views of the ocean and signature hole. I did not want to leave my residence because it was so beautiful. The grounds were also exquisite with various types of trees and flowers and wildlife. The unit is luxurious with plentiful space and amenities such as washer/dryer, laundry soap, and kitchen appliances and utensils. I guess the only thing I'd wish they'd done was list instructions in the unit on how to access the internet because we couldn't find the instructions anywhere. I was told it should have been sent via email but I couldn't locate said email. Nonetheless, it was a peaceful retreat and I can't wait to be back (we even saw a whale jump out at dusk).

We toured 4 islands and this was our favorite place to stay. It was immaculately maintained, located in a great area and safe to walk in the evenings. The staff was exceptionally helpful. The lanai was a wonderful place to enjoy breakfast before heading out for the day. We’ll be back.

This is a great place with great access to amenities. Being a home rental the decor might be different in each home, some more dated than others, but all super clean, spacious and the grounds are amazing. Beach Club access is a great beach and facility. You will need to do your own rental of snorkeling and other items like paddleboards. Restaurant was great at Beach Club, spendy for dinner, avg. for lunch and drinks. Great snorkeling area at this beach, many tours come here as a stop. I did not golf, but GC looks immaculate and amazing. Petroglyph Park nearby is a great stop right near hear as is the attached beach for tide pools. Pool looked nice but we did not use as most would rather be at beach. Great location and great resort, would love to come back. BTW we were a family of 4, kids 11/13 and they loved it. We also had a unit with attached garage which was nice, 2 of 4 units did, the other were unattached but close.
