Pros:

Little gem was the perfect place for our trip to Tulum. Central location, clean property tucked away, provided bikes free of charge, and right across the street from a great breakfast cafe. The highlight was the concierge service, both people who worked at the front desk gave us the best recommendations on places to go and things to do, and made the trip truly magical.

We loved our stay at the Little Gem, our first 4 days in Mexico. The staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful, always greeting us with a big smile.

The location is close to the La Veleta neighbourhood with dozens of restaurants and bars within a 10-12 minute walk. There is a small kitchen where we prepared breakfast ( there is no restaurant), but there is also a good cafe across the street.

We used the hotel's free bikes every day and cycled to the ruins, the beach, and to the Grand Cenote. No more than a 10-12k round trip.

The hotel was peaceful and quiet!

Nice hotel but be aware of the holes in the street
Pros:

A lot of coffee shops and restaurants close by, clean rooms and friendly staff.

Cons:

There are huge holes in the streets around the hotel. We damaged our rental when driving to the hotel. The rooms were clean but facilities seem a bit run down with faucets collecting rust.

Pros:

The rooms were huge and super nice for the price we have paid. The staff was very helpful and eager to help. We could also use bicycles for free. One of our best stays in Mexico.

Cons:

It is a bit further away from the centre but with the bikes it was okay. Do it only if you have a car.

Viesnīca ir jauna, tīra, numuriņi pietiekosi plaši. Pagalma ir diezgan laba izmēra baseins. Pie viesnīcas ir autostāvvieta, gan diezgan ierobežota izmēra. Pieejams bija maziņš ledusskapis un kafijas automāts. No centra minūtes 15-20 kājām.

Cons:

Bukingā rezervējot tika rezervēta no kartes nauda. Viesnīcā reģistrējoties bija jāmaksā uz vietas, pagājusi nedēļa, bet vēl rezervēto naudu nēsmu saņēmis. Registrējoties viesnīca prasa depozītu, 2000 peso, ko atgriež, laikam domā, ka es viņu veco ledusskapi aizvedīšu uz eiropu.

Une très bonne place pour résider à Tulum.
Pros:

La beauté de l'endroit, le design est beau. Le quartier est calme. Le personnel a été parfait, gentil, courtois, aidant. La chambre était confortable. Le café en face est très bon. C'est une place où nous reviendrons très probablement et que nous recommandons.

Cons:

La rue est vraiment en très mauvais état. Nous avons abimé notre voiture tellement les trous sont profonds.

Heel fijn verblijf in klein en persoonlijk hotel
Pros:

Fijn kleinschalig hotel. Kamer met ruime badkamer en terras met stoelen. Aan het zwembad kun je ook prima relaxen. Locatie is prima, in een rustig deel van Tulum en dicht bij de restaurants en winkels van La Veleta met een relaxte Ibiza-vibe. Tegenover het hotel kun je met korting heerlijk ontbijten. Personeel is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

Cons:

De weg waar het hotel aan ligt is, net als vele andere wegen in La Veleta, nog in aanleg en heel slecht. Vooral in het donker is het goed uitkijken dat je niet de hele onderkant van je auto aan gort rijdt.

Authentisches Tulum-Erlebnis dank eines unglaublich herzlichen Teams

Wir hatten einen richtig tollen Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen Hotel. Das Personal war WOW: extrem hilfsbereit, offen für Gespräche und spürbar aufmerksam – sie gehen sehr individuell auf die Bedürfnisse der Gäste ein. Genau dadurch fühlt man sich sofort willkommen und bekommt tolle Tipps, um Tulum authentisch zu erleben.

Unser Zimmer war sauber, geräumig und bestens ausgestattet. Super praktisch: kostenlose Fahrräder zum Ausleihen – ideal, um die Stadt entspannt zu erkunden. Und direkt gegenüber kann man sich Frühstück, z.B. richtig gute Bowls holen.

Wer Tulum authentisch erleben möchte und dabei ein hilfsbereites, herzliches Team schätzt, ist hier genau richtig. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gern wieder :)

We had a wonderful stay at the Little Gem Hotel. The hotel is small, very cozy, and quiet, with clean, beautifully designed rooms that made us feel right at home. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, we loved having morning coffee on our balcony, and the free bikes were a perfect bonus for getting around.

Pros:

Super freundliches Personal. Es gab auch ein Fahrrad, aber eigentlich kann man auch zu Fuß zum Zentrum. Nah gelegen beim Haltestelle vom Taxi Collectivo. Deswegen waren Ausflüge auch günstig und gut zu erreichen.
