Very clean and polished, staff was friendly and great.
The thermostat was tricky, our room was too warm and no matter how we messed with the thermostat we only got the heater
Million, Effram, Ms. Jennifer, and the valet staff ( I can't remember the very tall gentleman’s name). Everyone is attentive and warm and welcoming. I love seeing all the happy staff from the moment my husband and I checked in and out. The restaurant food is amazing too! The room definitely exceeded my expectations. We had a lovely view of the Anacostia as well. I love water and it was nice to wake up to that view. #917 #BreezyBowl #I❤️Thompson Hotel
Nothing that I didn’t like.
The property had a very clean and modern feel which was wonderful and it was in a perfect location for our wedding weekend located so close to district winery. The valet and bellhops were very efficient and kind.
Our recent stay was disappointing due to the hotel's lack of support for guests traveling with dogs. We were surprised to receive a call from the front desk just after leaving our room, claiming our dogs had been barking "all morning," even though we had only been gone for about 45 minutes.
The hotel offered no solutions or assistance, such as moving us to a quieter room or providing any form of help. The experience felt less about a genuine concern for other guests and more about placing the responsibility squarely on us without any support.
Because the hotel offered no solutions, we were forced to find last-minute accommodations for our dogs. This not only added to the stress of our trip but also created an additional expense on top of the already high cost of our stay.
•The location was within walking distance to the venue i needed to be at for a concert.
•Hotel was somewhat easy to get to.
•Staff was kind, helpful and informative.
• Rooms were clean and spacious.
• Had to pay to use the parking garage at the hotel, and pricing was not included in the full stay. Parking garage was used for more than just the hotel guest.
I ended up having to parking 5 mins down the road at a different car park to have a place for my car for the night.
• Front entrance wasnt in a great area being place in front of a private parking access gate. So you would end up blocking it while unloading or waiting for a valet.
• everything had to be asked for including ice, and even that was only available till a certain time.
• no ice machine or vending machine of any kind where found on any floors.
• bathrooms tho beautiful were odd. There was no hand soap or bar in the bathroom.
• Shower was confusing when it came to controlling the water temperature, water pressure was kinda low, and it had no actually door to it. As well as had a uncomfortably place mirror on the shower wall. Bascially if you werent standing directly under the shower head you were staring at your naked self. I feel the mirror shouldnt have been there at all. But if necessary to place it higher or in a different spot completely.
The location was close to the Navy Yard
Found out in the morning that the room had bedbugs
Great service from the front desk staff to the bellman.
Na
