Pros:

The staff were very friendly. The food was good. It is in a beautiful setting

They need double / triple glazing. The noise of the planes was deafening at times

Good value for money, and convenient for the airport
Pros:

Really nice rooms really good value for money, staff were really helpful and you can park your car there for £10 a night if using the airport

Great value option close to Stansted
Pros:

Great location for Stansted airport, and better value than staying in an airport hotel. It was clean and functional.

Cons:

We were in the Courtyard. Bed was quite small for 2 people, and no air con. Had to park the car on the other side of the hotel about 5 mins walk away despite there being parking available right outside our door.

nice last minute stay
Pros:

stayed here after a delayed flight back to Stansted and I was too tired to drive home. Easy to book - nice comfortable room, could hear the planes going over (which I enjoy but I understand not everyone would like that)

Cons:

not many options around for food, however we did arrive very late at night so most things closed

Nice hotel , just a little bit too close to the airport noise.
Pros:

The hotel itself was nice and clean , old building and well looked after and friendly staff.

Cons:

The Noise, its right on the take off run from Stansted airport. The planes are so low and loud, literally a plane taking off every minute one after another. My fault i should have done my homework first .
Bar and food prices a little high.

Pros:

Beautiful surroundings, property exceptionally clean.

Cons:

No air con as stated when booking! Unbearably hot with one desk fan.
Bed like sleeping on wooden floor.
No mirror in main area.

Avoid unless you can cope with such frequent aircraft noise felt like 1 every minute
Pros:

The property looks beautiful and the room was clean

Cons:

The location was directly under the Stanstead flight path with jets taking of in very short intervals. Couldn’t park car outside room despite parking spaces provided. No double or secondary glazing to reduce aircraft noise. Restaurant also had disruptive aircraft noise resulting in our eating at local pub. There was also limited menu. Problems with door which didn’t close easily.
