Very clean, excellent value. Yes you can hear some plane noise but no surprise as so close to Stansted. Restaurant great too.
The gardens were lovely .We used the restaurant for our evening meal it was well cooked and presented well .The staff were all very cheerful and helpful.The room was small but clean and had everything you required for an over night stay .
The aircraft noise didn’t bother us in the day but as we had to be up early for our flight it was a bit bothersome late evening to around midnight .Also our room was facing the road and it was surprising how much traffic passed at night .But in all fairness they had ear plugs in the room .
Great food, great location, couldn’t fault it.
We booked a lodge as we had our dog with us and wanted self catering. The lodge was very well equipped and spotlessly clean. It would be a bit of a squeeze for 4 adults if the weather wasn't good and you couldn't use the outside space. The setting is lovely and the main hotel looked great. We liked the fairy lights and fountain.
We had a fair bit of luggage and the dog. It would have been easier if we could have got the car nearer for loading and unloading. The location is under the flight path for the airport and we could definitely hear the planes but quickly got used to them and they don't generally fly after 11pm.

Property and location is amazing we intend to come back. The only downside was our choice to eat at the restaurant which is not at the same standard yet still looking for the same rates. Breakfast as positive was good though.

You can hear the planes (though earplugs were provided!) Also there were no side table lamps or small lights, just the main light in the room.
A beautiful building nearby Stansted, perfect for a one-night stay before/after a flight. The staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly. We had a meal in the restaurant that was nice too. They also arranged a taxi for us that was below the price of an Uber and had an option for parking while we were away on our holiday.
Being nearby Stansted and having only single-glazed windows, the sound of airplanes overhead was quite loud.

Suhteliselt lähedal lennujaamale, aga jala käimiseks liiga pikk maa siiski. Kolmandikul teel ei olnud jalakäijatele mõeldud rada. Lennukite ja autode müra kostis väga hästi tuppa ära.
