Great value and so close for the airport.

The double bed was TINY. I nearly fell out of bed during the night....
Bar staff friendly and attentive. Food good
No plug in bathroom sink and only one glass. Contacted reception who agreed to locate a plug from housekeeping. Later called to advise hotel full (didn't feel full from number of diners in restaurant or cars in car park) and that no plugs were available. And if I wanted another glass i should walk to bar area and get one for myself - and if I wanted to complain speak to 'named individual' I bar!! As a result of this interaction all previous positive feelings about the hotel were lost
It’s a great hotel in a beautiful setting and the staff were very warm and friendly
The only thing and it’s well stated in the hotel info is the planes flying over. But we did manage a relatively quiet nights sleep before our 4 am departure!

Incredibly close to Stansted Airport, staff was super nice and polite. Bed was comfy, bathroom and bedroom were quite big. Definitely would stay again.
As it's close to the airport, you can hear the planes but it didn't wake us up or disturbed us - but just something to keep in mind.
Overall - its worth the price. It was calm and peaceful.

Sehr kleines Zimmer in einem Anbau mit zugigem Fenster und nicht funktionierender Heizung bei 5-8 Grad Außentemperatur. Habe das Haus nach einer Nacht verlassen. Lage nett auf dem Lande, aber in der Abflugschneise des Flughafens Stansted.
