Bardzo dobry nocleg, wspaniali, troskliwi, uczynni właściciele, załatwią wszystko: transport, masaż, safari ….. chyba nie takiej rzeczy której dla ciebie nie zrobią. Rezerwuj, nie wąchaj się, będziesz jak w rodzinie.

Super vriendelijke ontvangst, heerlijk eten, een mooi zwembad en de vriendelijke eigenaar die ons naar de top sites voerde en de safari regelde. Tel daar een mooie grote kamer bij en dan is maar 1 score mogelijk! 10.

We were extremely well attended to at the Spice hotel,with very welcoming and helpful hosts regarding anything we needed from food around the pool to lifts into town or to places we wanted to see
There are 3 rooms as luxury accommodation in the purpose built house as well as 3 spacious accommodation bungalow rooms around the pool and a chalet bungalow without air conditioning.The new pool is pictured below.
It was a lovely quiet place to relax listening to the local birds. The hosts planted the garden themselves and are extremely knowledgeable about local plants and their properties and benefits.

Il punto forte dell’alloggio è stato l’host, molto gentile, e ho potuto cenare presso la struttura. Sia la colazione che la cena erano molto buone, e le aree comuni dell’alloggio erano accoglienti e confortevoli. La struttura è immersa in un bellissimo giardino di spezie e alberi, quindi ci si sente completamente immersi nella natura. È dotata anche di una piscina, che però io non ho utilizzato. Purtroppo c’è stato un disguido nella prenotazione e non ho soggiornato nella camera che pensavo di aver prenotato. La soluzione alternativa proposta non ha pienamente soddisfatto le mie aspettative, ma l’host si è comunque prodigato per trovare un’opzione alternativa, e alla fine il problema è stato risolto.

Owners (Madhu & Ronald) are very nice and helpful. Ronald organized tours in the area (Sigiriya), and dropped us at the railway station on the last day,
I sprained my ankle and Madhu provided free aryuvedic massage, which helped a lot.

Très bonne chambre, confortable, propre, avec balcon, dans la nature. Un accueil très chaleureux et familial. Bonne connexion internet. Possibilité de prendre les repas sur place. Merci à toute l'équip!

Regelden voor ons een safari naar Kaudulla, Hebben voor het diner 4 x verschillende gerechten klaar gemaakt die bovendien heel lekker gekruid waren. Hele vriendelijke mensen

Wir waren für diesmal in einer traditionellen Lehmhütte untergebracht. Immerhin mit WiFi.....
Doppelbett, Moskitonetz, Nasszelle, Steckdose, Lampen.
Abendessen und am Morgen das Frühstück von den Inhabern zubereitet, köstlich!
Vor der Weiterreise noch eine Führung durch den Gewürzgarten.
Übrigens: für die Komfort - Verwöhnten gibt es auch Zimmer der gehobenen Art. Mit allem Pipapo!

Wir hatten eine wirklich tolle Zeit im Spice Village Hotel mitten im Dschungel
Uns wurde jeder Wunsch von den Augen abgelesen und alles getan, damit wir uns rundum wohl fühlen!
Den Pool hatten wir meistens für uns und die Führung durch den Garten war sehr schön.
Ein Nashornvogel ist über uns hinweg geflogen!

Clean and spacious room with a balcony, a little out of the main town but set amongst the trees and spice garden of the owners. Incredible value for money, the hosts were so accommodating we immediately felt like we were at home. Be sure to enjoy the breakfast and dinner cooking, we ate every meal at the accomodation for three days and left with bellies full of Sri Lankan food.
The pool is a short walk from the property but don’t let that deter you, there are lounges to enjoy the sun.
Owners organised everything from day trips, to laundry to our drop off at the local bus stop.
Wonderful stay! Highly reccomend.

Taking a step back and comparing Spice Village to other hotels and restaurants we have been to over the last 3 weeks, I can only say that it was great experience of Sri Lankan hospitality and genuine kindness. We very rapidly felt like friends rather than clients. We have been offered cooking demonstrations, garden tour, tea party,… you name it. Our two hosts were wonderful and put a lot of effort in conveying an unforgettable image of Sri Lanka. Moreover Madou is a great cook and prepared all kinds of dishes not on the menu card, delicious traditional SL cuisine.

Madu en al het personeel waren geweldig!!! Wat een warm welkom! We zijn enorm in de watten gelegd met goed eten, zelfs een kookcursus, tips voor de omgeving en vooral oneindig veel liefde. Een geweldige tijd!!

A beautiful place surrounded by nature. The rooms are welcoming and impeccably clean. Laundry service is available. A generous breakfast with delicious fruit is offered. There's a gorgeous garden.

In the middle of the jungle along an almost secret path , Habarana Spice Village touches the edge of the Minneriya National Park. Madu is a wonderful host providing warm welcome, exceptional Sri Lankan food, and beautifully kept comfortable accomodation. There is access to a very nice pool set in the garden in the small hotel a couple of minutes walk away. Madu arranged a very helpful tuk tuk driver to take us to various places on the local itinary. She also arranged a jeep for tour of local eco park where we saw many elephants. If you want a taste of the real Sri Lanka. This is it.

The hosts really were exceptional in the level of service they delivered, and the meals were outstanding. We felt part of the family, and nothing was too much trouble. The location and ambience really are something special, with beautifully kept herb and spice gardens in a quiet rural location. We had a lovely stay in a comfortable and spacious room, some fascinating visits to local points of interest, and relaxing time spent on our balcony and at the pool. We would thoroughly recommend staying here. One of the best places we've ever stayed.

Everything very OK

Sri Lankan breakfast and dinner are amazing and change every day. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Wifi works well, A/C too. The area is near the park, so quite remote and relaxing.
