Incredible. Should have stayed longer.
Pros:

The host was so incredibly nice and welcoming. Tatami room and everything. The foot bath was right outside the room and felt amazing. Was surprised to find out that the bath had it's own thermal water pipe in addition to the normal pipes. Tried one of the local souchus that were available to freely taste and it was really good. Just bummed that I only stayed for 1 night. Definitely worth staying for at least 2 days or more. Especially if you're coming with a car.

Pros:

The host Yuki was very kind and showed me around the home and introduced me to other guests staying here. I got to experience living in a traditional Japanese tatami room and the futon was very comfortable. The stay was very enjoyable and the neighbourhood was very calm and peaceful

Top Notch Guest House Experience that I never forget
Pros:

ゲストハウスは霧島観光にはベストな場所に面していて、周辺は静かで、なにより家の清潔さがとても印象的で、清潔さが居心地の良さにここまで通ずるのかと勉強になった気分でもありました！
オーナーの方もとても親切で、フレンドリーで、とても安心できました！
またぜひお邪魔したいと思います！

A rare gem. We had a wonderful time. Yuki is a special person who made this house a little gem. We were amazed by the tranquility, peace, and serenity of our stay. Everything was perfect: the futons were super comfortable, the decorations were fantastic, and even sharing the common areas was no problem, even though we weren't used to it. We always had our privacy, but we also had the opportunity to talk with Yuki and meet another traveler. We were very sorry to have to leave. We tried to enjoy the two nights as much as possible; the area is fantastic, a world with so much to offer. Thank you, Yuki, we hope to return one day soon.

Pros:

Everything, place is very clean, conviniently located and really enjoyable to stay in. The host is super friendlly and explains everything when you arrive. Host offers mineral water, bottled tea for free, and there are also some sakes from local producers available for testing.

Cons:

Futon storage was really cold, better to keep is tightly shut xD

Very cozy and adorable place, with Yuki as your host you really feel home. We have slept in the new futons so well there were much thicker than usual and so comfy.

We loved our stay in Yuki’s lovely traditional Japanese style home!
Pros:

Very peaceful surroundings with a foot bath right out side our room. A very clean, spacious and traditional Japanese style room. The futons were nice and thick, making for a very comfortable sleep. Our host was very friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner.

Cons:

We loved everything!

Hôte amicale et logement confortable
Pros:

C'était notre première location au japon et c'est un très bonne expérience. Notre hôte a été très amical, nous avons bien discuté et il a pris le temps de nous donner des renseignements sur les environs. De plus le logement est propre et bien entretenu et le bain de pieds extérieur est très agréable. Encore merci à lui.
