Bucana Beach House North El Nido

We had a wonderful stay at Bucana Beach House. We stayed in the house with our family of 5. Staff is very hospitable, and willing to answer any questions you may have. Food was amazing! I suggest this property, for a quiet beachfront location!

Highly disappointed, arrived & having booked around 3 month prior, already paid by credit card & having messaged my arrival time the day before, they didn’t expect me & had no room for me, had given my room to a walk in. I’d had a long flight & transit & they sat me there, for a hr, while they rang around looking for accommodation elsewhere for me for the night. They found sub standard accommodation nearby & told me I could rtn to them the following night. Nxt night they said the pregnant lady in my room needed to stay there longer & could I stay remaining nights in the place I’d moved too. I said I had no choice & would. However nxt night, 3rd night, they came to ask me to move into their place, obviously they now had a vacancy & wanted to fill a now empty room.
Etc etc etc, total disaster, they’re money hungry, unprofessional, unhelpful, disorganised, & dishonest. They put me in accommodation that was cheaper than theirs for 2 nights yet didn’t offer a refund until I asked for one & they only gave a small amount & cheated the other place I moved to. Don’t stay here! They’re useless & service is hopelessly inefficient. Highly unprofessional & the stress was unneeded on my holiday especially since I’d paid, booked early & communicated arrival time etc!

Its location by the beach and the attitude of the staff are wonderful, and the breakfast is delicious.

Every time I step out of my room, I’m instantly greeted by a breathtaking view of the sea, with the soothing sound of the waves setting the perfect mood. The staff are incredibly hands-on and genuinely caring—they check in on you from time to time and are always attentive to your needs. What truly stands out is their dedication: even if an item or request isn’t available, they always find a way. The rooms and bathroom is sparkling clean. I love that it’s quiet and peaceful. L

I love the private beach feel. Not crowded yet there are establishments to go to for food and stores.

Super friendly staff !! The owner, the driver, the staff, everyone was so nice to us. They helped us with my sim card, book the island tours and transportation to the city center. Special thanks to the driver. He was so sweet to us, brought us to a beach, took pics of us, and explained so many things about the Philippines.

There are a few cutiepies (cats and dogs) staying in the place, so it's such a pleasure to see them !! In the morning, you hear the rooster too.
We were the only ones in this accommodation at first, so it was even better, I think. We were super lucky !

Our little hut is right at the beach. The room is simple, cozy, and clean. There are a bed, a little mirror, a hanger, a moskito neat, and a fan.

The breakfast and food are delicious : you can order tomato or nature omelet, or plain pancakes. Coffee and tee are also available unlimited.

The shower and bathroom are pretty clean. Water sometimes doesn't work, the staff responds quickly and makes it work so it's ok (and understable due to the accommodation's location).

It's a bit far from the city center (2500 pesos go&back 45 min) but it's so calm and beautiful. It's worth it!! El Nido city center is full of tourists, busy, noisy. We went there only for the island tours.

I had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful place for 2.5 weeks, and I’m absolutely delighted!

The location is perfect—right on the beach, which I could enjoy at any time of day. The beach itself is long, wide, and clean, making walks or lazy sunbathing a real pleasure.
The surroundings are peaceful and quiet, allowing for complete relaxation with the soothing sound of waves in the background.

The property is spotlessly clean, and the bathrooms are tidied up daily—a huge plus! A lovely extra touch was the complimentary morning coffee, which was a perfect way to start each day. The owners are incredibly friendly and helpful—always ready with advice and making sure I felt right at home. And the food was delicious.

I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable getaway, away from the crowds but with the sea at their doorstep and a fantastic atmosphere.
