La nostra camera si trovava all’ultimo piano della struttura, raggiungibile tramite una scala a chiocciola che, nell’ultimo tratto, diventa piuttosto stretta. Noi avevamo solo degli zaini e non abbiamo avuto particolari problemi, ma con valigie più ingombranti l’accesso potrebbe risultare un po’ scomodo.

Essendo all’ultimo piano, la stanza tendeva a scaldarsi molto. Non è presente l’aria condizionata, ma viene messo a disposizione un climatizzatore portatile (“pinguino”); nel nostro caso però non è riuscito a rinfrescare l’ambiente in maniera particolarmente efficace. Con qualche accorgimento su questo aspetto, il soggiorno potrebbe risultare ancora più confortevole.

At the point of booking, the accommodation was advertised on Booking.com as including a “private bathroom”, supported by photographs that presented the bathroom as part of the room. This representation was false and materially misleading.
On arrival, I discovered that:
• The bathroom was not within the room but located across a shared public hallway.
• This fact was not disclosed anywhere in the listing.
• The bathroom was accessible to others, and not private in any meaningful or ordinary sense.
The representation of an in-room “private bathroom” was a statement of fact that induced me to enter the contract. Had the true position been disclosed, I would not have made the booking.
While accessing the bathroom, I encountered a cockroach in the hallway, which further demonstrates that the accommodation fell below reasonable standards of cleanliness and quality.

I raised the discrepancy on site staff and requested a room change. This was refused. The staff did not dispute that the bathroom was external. The next day, I contacted the property via WhatsApp to complain as there was no staff onsite. The property confirmed in writing that the bathroom was “external”, thereby corroborating the misrepresentation. They apologised for the cockroach but would not offer any refund. I complained to Booking.com who offered £19 but could not do more, which does not reflect the seriousness of the misrepresentation. I wonder why misleading listings like this one are not taken down.

I did not like that the bathroom was not attached to the room. It was dedicated to our room, but technically the entire building had access to it, so we didn’t feel comfortable leaving any stuff in there, so it was a pain to carry stuff back and forth. Maybe have the door have a key lock and provide the key inside the room so you can lock it while not in use.

Didn’t realize that I could be in a fifth floor walk up with very narrow stairs. Normally not a big deal but traveling with an infant which made it difficult. The staff was very eager to help, and allowed us to store the stroller in the basement, but still would have been much better on a lower floor.

Le scale strette in perfetto stile londinese. Ma essere al terzo piano con una bambina di 2 anni con passeggino e stato un po scomodo oltre che pericoloso

Overrated and the price is not worth it at all no lift and a very bad smell I dont advise to stay in the hotel the pictures was unreal at all

La Wifi non sempre funziona bene

When I entered the property, there was no water running. I tried to wash my hands on arrival and then tried to have a shower but there was no water at all. I have never experienced no water being available on a stay. I would ideally like to be refunded the entire amount that I paid.
