Avoid this hotel when temperature is below 10DegC
Pros:

Location, Food (Aloo Paratha), Tea

Cons:

When it is freezing at Tawang (temperature 2-5 degreeC), the room heaters are not simply good enough to keep you warm. This hotels needs completely new type of heaters. Everything else looks to be reasonable.

Spacious rooms, value for money
Pros:

Spacious clean rooms with big beds (one double and one single bed), sofa set with large centre table, 24 h hot water, nice valley view, location near main market yet peaceful, prompt room service provided, friendly hosts.

Cons:

Bigger room heater in the room needed, no ventilation in the bathroom, food quality needs improvement.

Pros:

Have good view from the room, but the view is only 50% of what you expect.
Walkable to the market.

Cons:

The staff is not welcoming and pretty careless. They don't try to help you in anyway. And sometimes the answers feel rude.
The heater hardly heats the room.
Although walkable, the place is quite down from the market.
Their kitchen is closed.
The whole hotel reeks with cigarette smell. So would not recommend for families.
They should have RO water, otherwise there is a huge wastage of plastic especially when you can only get 1 litre bottles in whole tawang.

Superb
Pros:

I was a bit scared at first when I did the booking as the front of the hotel didn't look that good in photos, but I was more than pleasantly surprised by the size of the rooms, service of the staff, helping nature of the owner, facilities in the rooms, taste of the food and its more than worth the price.

I stayed for 2 days and this part of my trip is the cheapest and the best of my 2 week trip.

Definitely recommend it!!

Cons:

One negative thing is, if theres a power cut, the generator is switched on, only during specific times like 7am to 8:30am and sometime else in the evening

Good place to stay in Tawang at a reasonable cost
Pros:

Location was good, in the Nehru market beside Canara Bank. Couple of double deb rooms would have good views of the Tawang town, but the triple bed did not have any view. Staff was really polite and eager to help, but some of them are still new and a bit raw so would need time to become even better. Room was decent sized and quite clean. Food was also decent.

Cons:

We stayed in December and it was intensely cold with temperature at night going down to -5. The heater that was provided was very small and not big enough especially for the bigger sized triple room. Other thank that everything else was quite good.
