Aga Surf View

Right on a beautiful beach, which was absolutely lovely. The staff were amazing and very welcoming. The pool is beautiful, the breakfast was excellent, and the restaurant has a great atmosphere. 🌊✨

L’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé, les pieds dans l’eau sur une superbe petite crique aux eaux calmes et propres, les chambres sont confortables , le personnel est adorable et on mange bien , un peu le paradis.

Honestly just book this place. We tried desperately to extend our stay but they were fully booked and rightfully so! What an oasis. The beach, the food, the ROOM, the staff - it’s so tranquil, easily the best place we stayed during our 3 week trip of Sri Lanka

We loved everything about this place.

Lovely spacious rooms, great restaurant and breakfasts, on a really nice beach that was calm enough for the kids to play in the water. We even saw a turtle just swimming in the bay.

The staff were friendly and chill and efficient. And it’s next to a few beach bars to watch the sunset / palm trees.

We thought we would go exploring other beaches in Tangalle but in the end we mostly stayed on this one. We really loved Aga Surf!

Beautiful beach, lovely garden and pool, great restaurant overlooking the sea, quiet area

Our stay at Aga Surf was truly wonderful and incredibly comfortable. The staff were amazing – such a lovely group of young people who made us feel completely at home from the very first day. Their warmth and care made our stay so easy and enjoyable that we could easily imagine staying much longer.

The restaurant and food were great (although it would be nice to see even more traditional local dishes on the menu), and the music was absolutely fantastic – it created such a great vibe. We especially loved spending the hottest hours of the day working and relaxing in the bar area, which is very pleasant and has a nice view of the beach.

The beach is right in front of the hotel, which is very convenient, although it’s a bit of a pity that the direct access and the view from the hotel side are not more nicely arranged – the staff kindly explained that this is not in their control, but it does feel a little surprising compared to how lovely everything else is.

However, just a 5-minute walk away there is a stunning beach with turquoise water, white sand, peace and quiet, and charming little beach cafés. On the way there, you’ll also find a couple of good restaurants, which was a lovely bonus.

Overall, Aga Surf is a beautiful, cozy place with great energy, amazing people, and a very relaxed atmosphere – I truly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, good vibes, and a home-like feeling by the ocean.

We loved this place. The staff were amazing, so helpful and friendly. Lying in bed and could still see them surfing was fantastic.

Estuvimos aqui hace unos días y nos encantó la experiencia desde el principio al final. El personal es muy amable y profesional y te hacen sentir muy cómodo en todo momento. La habitación era preciosa y muy cómoda y espaciosa. Tenía una zona de estar en el exterior y zona para secar la ropa. Está en una playa muy tranquila, donde te puedes bañar o practicar algún deporte. También tiene una piscina y la zona del restaurante es muy agradable, puedes cenar, comer o simplemente tomarte un coctel. El desayuno es muy bueno y variado... es un pequeño paraíso en la playa.

We have a wonderful 5 night stay here over Christmas. It was just what we required. Quiet, relaxed and unassuming. Good beach for both swimming and surfing. The food both at breakfast and dinner were very good. There are plenty of nice family run restaurants within walking distance if you want some variety and a change of scene. The staff are kind and attentive and a credit to the establishment. Tuk Tuks were always available outside or via PickMe app for trips further afield
