Cheep and cheerful. Don't expect too much.
Pros:

No food on the day we arrived. The chef's day off. We were not informed of this until we got there and had to go to a another Pub or have take-away fish & chips.

A great location, quiet village. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There were plenty of teas and coffees in the room. Once checked in we had keys that gave us direct access to the room without going through the bar.
We didn't spend any time in the bar, but it was well stocked and had a good selection of good beers - I did take 1 pint up to the room and it tasted really good

Cons:

Not a dislike, just something to be aware of - the rooms have a fan heater. We got back at 2am on a really cold night and the room was cold, as we didn't want to leave the heater on overnight. Switching on for 10 minutes took the chill off the room and we like to sleep in a cooler bedroom anyway. In the morning I switched the heater on and pointed out into the bathroom and snuggled back under the duvet for 20 mins!

Pros:

Bel pub caratteristico nella campagna inglese. Siamo stati solo una notte ma molto bene, letto confortevole e colazione super, fatta espressa la mattina. Da tener conto che le camere sono sopra il pub, la sera si sentono le persone che parlano, a noi non ha dato fastidio! Saremo felici di tornarci e di provare anche il ristorante!

Looking forward to our next stay
Pros:

The place is absolutely gorgeous. Nice little country pub. The landlady lynn was so helpful from the minute we got there. The room was stunning and there was tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits also lots of shower gel and shampoo and the shower was amazing. We will definitely be coming back but for a longer stay.
