Pros:

We stayed at the Royal Oak for one night while attending the Cheltenham races, and we had a great experience. The staff were very friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well-kept, which made our stay really enjoyable. Overall, we were very happy with the stay and would definitely consider coming back again

Welcoming staff, clean, comfortable room. We ate in there and we can recommend the ham, egg & chips!
Pros:

The bedroom was very spacious and very clean. We had a comfortable bed with crisp white sheets and towels. There was plenty of tea/coffee etc.

Cons:

Nothing really not to like!

Lynn and her staff were excellent- nothing was too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome.
The breakfast was delicious and hearty. The rest of the food was basic but tasty.

No negatives for us.

Pros:

It was a friendly pub. The bar food was good.

Cons:

I chose the pub for its location and good breakfast reviews. However when I arrived I was told no breakfast would be available and by then it was too late to make alternative accomodation arrangements.

Pros:

Really comfortable room, great shower.
Lovely staff.

Cons:

Noise from the bar (but to be expected) and breakfast system a little confusing, it does need to be prebooked, despite the website saying it’s available at the venue.

Cheep and cheerful. Don't expect too much.
Pros:

No food on the day we arrived. The chef's day off. We were not informed of this until we got there and had to go to a another Pub or have take-away fish & chips.

The staff, dinner, breakfast was really good the best we have had so far

Cons:

The bathroom was tiny and the bed not that comfortable but comfortable enough, everything else was brilliant

Pros:

A great location, quiet village. The room was comfortable, clean and spacious. There were plenty of teas and coffees in the room. Once checked in we had keys that gave us direct access to the room without going through the bar.
We didn't spend any time in the bar, but it was well stocked and had a good selection of good beers - I did take 1 pint up to the room and it tasted really good

Cons:

Not a dislike, just something to be aware of - the rooms have a fan heater. We got back at 2am on a really cold night and the room was cold, as we didn't want to leave the heater on overnight. Switching on for 10 minutes took the chill off the room and we like to sleep in a cooler bedroom anyway. In the morning I switched the heater on and pointed out into the bathroom and snuggled back under the duvet for 20 mins!

Ok for business trip,
Pros:

Room was large, comfortable and fine

Cons:

Heating did not work but an electric fan heater was provided. Booking.com said breakfast was included but it wasn’t
