Quite satisfying! Location perfect, for wedding in local church. Lyn and the staff were very welcoming, helpful, friendly and anxious to please. We would certainly stay here again if in the area.
Nothing
Location and very comfortable room. Welcoming and helpful staff
In the heatwave so stifling hot! Had to ask for a fan and chilled water. Staff did what they could to keep the building aired. Very basic menu and food
Nice village pub in a quiet setting. Spacious room and good shower.
Good friendly atmosphere
Great pub with good parking to the rear
Great breakfast 😋
Will stay there again and definitely pass the rayol oak name on to my work colleagues as a place to stay
Not to far from the m5 Nice and easy to find
Thank you jon&mia 😊
Shame they were not doing evening meal the evening we stayed
the food looked nice in the pictures online
But good chippy up the road
Great location. Plenty of parking and quiet at night. Clean and tidy room.
For the price one could not argue
Lovely, large room. Friendly staff. Nice, clean and comfortable. See birds nesting from the rooms window
May be a little out of the way if you don't have a car.
Nice country pub, good atmosphere, friendly staff.
Noise from downstairs in the bar, quite loud.
Nobody showed up to prepare or serve breakfast !
room is a great size, both bathroom & bedroom were bright and cleaned to a high standard, comfy bed & brewing facilities to top off the room.
nothing to dislike
great location . Friendly staff - would go again.
We have stayed here before: it's a good stop off on the way to the south coast ferry ports.
Spacious room at the front of the pub. Very clean. Good parking to the rear with plenty of CCTV coverage.
No food/kitchen on a Tuesday but there is a chip shop within walking distance and we could eat our carry-out in the pub.
Lots of road noise so not ideal if you are a light sleeper.
Really like staying at a pub, you can have a meal and drink without having to drive afterwards. It also beats booking a night at Premier Inn by a mile.
Maybe a larger menu but the choice was adequate and really nice.
Lovely spacious bedroom with comfy beds. Good shower. Tea and coffee facilities.
We paid for bed and breakfast but no one turned up to make it for us although on arrival we had to say what we would like and what time. We ordered for 8.30and hung around till 9.30.
I telephoned the hotel later the reply was oh dear we will return your money but no apology. Evening meal very basic menu ordered ham egg and chips. No ham available so offered sausages which were poor quality.
cleanliness top class
great value for money
nothing all good
Clean and tidy. Plenty of parking spaces.
Check it was over 3 hours late.
Too expensive.
Check out is too early.
