It was exactly what we had hoped for an overnight stop.
Pros:

Excellent breakfast which set us up for the day. Friendly and relaxed

Cons:

Green emergency light in room when dark. Unfotunately we failed to find out beforehand that no food is served on the evening we were there but they let us buy in delicious local fish and chips and provided plates and cutlery for us to eat in the dining room so no problem!

Excellent overnight stop
Pros:

Excellent room and en-suite, newly refurbished. Brilliant staff.

Schöner Landgasthof. Beim nächsten Besuch wird's besser.
Pros:

Alter, typisch englischer Gasthof mit viel Charme in Ortsmitte, natürlich mit Pub. Ganz gutes Frühstück. Und noch besseres Bier am Abend.

Cons:

Wir hatten doppelt Pech, was unseren Nachfolgern aber sicher erspart bleibt: Durch die extreme Sommerhitze in diesem Jahr war das Zimmer unter dem Dach natürlich auch übermäßig warm. Am Folgemorgen gab es zudem kein Wasser, weil ein technischer Defekt die Anlage stillgelegt hat und das kurzfristig nicht instandsetzbar war. Wir sind also ohne Dusche und Frühstück (weitgehend klaglos) abgereist. Ohne zu fragen hat uns die Frühstücksfrau allerdings 20 Pfund in die Hand gedrückt als Erstattung und mit einer großen Entschuldigung. Sie konnte ja sowieso nichts dafür.

Pros:

Good value and helpful staff.

Cons:

No blind in bathroom so early morning daylight flooded in.
Breakfast, although good, was requested for 8.30 but wasn't served until 8.55-09.00 meaning we were rushed as we wanted to get away by 9.20.

Not the best!!
Pros:

The room was large and clean.

Cons:

The room was facing the main road and the traffic noise from 4am kept us awake. Booked breakfast for 8.30 came down and no one to be seen until 8.50 breakfast was served at 9.20!!!. Second morning wasn’t a lot better. Never had a deep fried breakfast before not the best!!!

Needs a full refurb
Pros:

Unfortunately the place needs money spent no mirror in bedroom NR a plug breakfast was very over cooked and wasn't enjoyable no offer of cereal or fruit juice it's a shame as the lady was doing her best

we had a nice stay and a good location all went well good friendly staff

we did not have breakfast as we went out early as to make the most of our stay in the area very good parking and so help full when we arrived
