The location has deteriorated vastly from what I remember years ago staying there. It was the place to stay in town with bar, restaurant and rooms well kept. Now looks like its stuck in 2000 and is abandoned. Sad.
It’s quiet
The renovation smell when you first walk in
Conveniently located. Good water pressure. Breakfast was pretty good. Bed was comfy.
Very aged. Room was very dark. Bathroom counter was slanted and appeared hand painted. Hotel was virtually empty with only a handful of vehicles in the parking lot while all other hotels in town were sold out. Main hallway (see photo) looked like a detention center. Laminate floors in the room were gritty with sand or something. Unpleasant to walk on with bare feet.
Clean and quiet
Location is great !
We did not like walking into the room and smelling stale cigarette smoke and a musky damp moldy smell as well .
The bathroom smelt like someone just left a poo .
The bathroom door did not properly close .
The fridge did not work properly, and froze our lunches.
We got 2 double beds when they were supposed to be 2Queen .
There was construction at the hotel and the restaurant was closed and no breakfast offered like advertised through bookings .
Because there was construction we had a jackhammer going off above our room as late as 11:30pm and as early as 8:30am…and yes it was a jackhammer! The light fixtures were shaking like they were gonna fall out ,( I have video’s)
Just ok, price not consistent with accommodations.
A family member was given a room and there were still people in the room late at night when we checked in. Staff was unaware of this. First time I have ever had this happen.
The food that was provided for breakfast was decent but did not include any juice or fruit options. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.
On arrival, I was told that my reservation had been canceled due to not having a credit card associated with it, despite having made the reservation only 4 hours prior and having provided my credit card to booking.com. I arrived very late at night and was extremely tired. When I came downstairs in the morning, I noticed signs in the common areas of the hotel indicating that the fire alarm was not working and I fire watch was in effect. I didn’t notice the signs the night before due to how tired I was and was not advised by the staff at check in. This is a serious safety issue. Both beds in my room were also visibly sagging, although the one I chose to use was reasonably comfortable.

All we did was check in, sleep, wake up and leave. My boyfriend watched TV before he passed out so we didn't experience much of the hotel.
The staff was friendly.
The parking lot is in poor shape. There was garbage laying all through it. There is no chairs or benches outside
Great stay at a great price. Very clean room with AC, strong coffee and hot breakfast. Good shower with hot water.
