Bienvenue chez vous
Pros:

Famille extraordinaire jai ete accueillie comme un roi, j'étais tres fatigué...je traverse le Canada en velo...rouler a pluie dans cette journée...quel chance davoir tomber sur cette famille.

Cons:

Rien je me suis senti comme faisant parti de la famille cest des gens extraordinaire !

Pros:

nice furnitures, large rooms, nice bathroom, good parking.
The landlady was a nice and meticulous person and endowed with extreme, -extreme-, precision !

Cons:

I think 18.5 degree celsius is a little too cold to host people, even if you promise heavy blankets, I suggest 20-22 for more comfort.
Linen and towels smelled of indian spices.

Une étape parfaite : magnifique propriété, hôtes d'une extrême gentillesse et espace gigantesque
Pros:

• Accueil & Hospitalité :
Les hôtes sont adorables, d'une très grande gentillesse, prévenants et toujours disponibles pour échanger. Nous avons été reçus chaleureusement en personne dès notre arrivée.

•Cadre & Extérieurs :
La maison est superbe, soignée et d'une propreté exemplaire. Le grand jardin est magnifiquement entretenu et offre un cadre très reposant.

• Espace exceptionnel :
La surface privative allouée aux voyageurs est immense, avec un très grand salon privé, une belle chambre et une salle de bain moderne.

• Propreté & Douche :
Tout est impeccable. On retire ses chaussures à l'entrée pour respecter les lieux (des chaussons/claquettes sont gentiment mis à disposition si vous n'en avez pas). La douche est superbe avec une excellente pression. Shampoing et gel douche fournis.

• Rapport qualité / prix :
Le tarif est particulièrement raisonnable au vu des prestations et de la surface. Franchement, pour une étape de voyage, c'est très agréable et reposant !

Cons:

Il n'y a rien que nous n'ayons pas apprécié, mais voici juste quelques conseils pratiques & petite suggestion :

• Suggestion pour les hôtes :
L'ajout d'un petit micro-ondes d'appoint serait un vrai plus pratique pour réchauffer un plat rapide (comme un sachet de riz), même si cela reste un simple petit bonus.

• Équipements :
Pensez à demander le sèche-cheveux aux hôtes dès votre arrivée si vous en avez besoin.

• Insonorisation & Nuit : On peut entendre le passage des véhicules au loin, quelques bruits de pas à l'étage le soir le temps du coucher, ou la tondeuse le matin dans le voisinage. Cela reste tout à fait supportable en prévoyant simplement une paire de boules Quies.

• Luminosité matinale : Les rideaux laissent passer le jour au réveil ; pensez au masque de nuit si vous préférez l'obscurité totale.

• Literie : Le matelas est plutôt ferme/dur (selon les préférences de chacun).

Pros:

Facile à trouver et stationnement devant la maison.
Situé à 5mn de zones commerciales.
Personnes très sympathiques.
L'intérieur est décoré et on a l'impression de rentrer dans un musée, c'est magnifique!
L'accès au jardin direct au jardin.

Very friendly host in a lovely home that also has an easily accessible garden which is very nice

A beautiful home with your own sitting room and bathroom. Well decorated and well maintained

Cons:

Maybe a kettle to make your own tea or coffee when you wake up.

Good value for the cost
Pros:

Mr. and Mrs. Khan were kind, helpful and generous hosts. Mrs Khan gave me a tip on whete to park my car in downtown Cobourg...to avoid paying for parking.Mrs. Khan lent me a plate and fork for my dinner and allowed me to use her microwave to heat my meal. She also helped me carry my luggage to the room downstairs..Mr Khan set up the logistics of the TV so that I vould use it.

Although, I didn't go to thebeach, where I parked my car was close to the beach.. The beach is a great area for swimming. I guess one could paddle board there also, but not close to swimmers..

Cons:

The room was a little cool temperature wise..But a blanket was the answer for watching TV in the family room. I also added a blanket on the bed for sleeping.

Exactly what I needed. A place to rest in-between traveling from Guelph to Ottawa
