Comfortable stay for one night as we arrived too late to continue our journey to Mount StAgnrs

Clean and comfortable. Good comms from Relax Inn. Informed them that we would need to check in later than their times of check in and it wasn’t a problem, Yolanda was there when we arrived

Best value for location & cleanliness; simple and sweet.
Pros:

Our unit with kitchen and 2 bedrooms was spotless. Looks like we were given a set of new dishes as well as new bed sheets. The location was great. Could be within easy walking distance of the airport if carrying only light luggage. Within easy walking distance of Magazine Beach where we found the Aquarium Cafe, probably the best meal we had while visiting the island. Enjoyed the breeze from the top of Calliste Hill as well as watching, from my porch, local life at the gathering junction of Calliste Street and Coffee Street. Lots of local van taxis going either way, if needed to get anywhere quickly. Although the back of the Inn has the big views; we ended up with a street view unit, which was OK (plus lively) for 2 days. There is no longer a restaurant next door, although there are 2 small simple bars, one next door, the other across the street. Big off street parking lot if you have a car. Responsive and friendly staff.

Cons:

For maintenance, I would probably freshly paint with water proof paint, the lower portions of the bathroom walls of the unit we were given; the walls just looked a bit water stained from shower use. The water cisterns make a loud noise when water taps are used, although it didn't last long plus our unit was located at the opposite end of the building from the cisterns. I just noticed the grinding noise and wondered if something in the water system was about to fail; the water pipes coming out of the cistern sounded unhappy.

Pros:

Unfussy room, cool balcony with fresh breeze, friendly staff, and in particular this is the centre of the village of Calliste where unaffected local people gather and will welcome unassuming visitors. Walking distance to airport, the most beautiful beach - if you can find it - and local bus no. 1 into town. I've read reviews of nearby hotels costing twice as much which seem to have various failings - not here. Sorry to leave.

Very solid and very pleasing views.

Had a good home feeling checked in early and checked out late with no problem also it is a 10 min walk to the airport maybe even less if you walk fast everything is very close the capital is also not too far.

The Relax Inn is very handy if you are leaving or arriving g from the airport. We found the ladies in charge there extremely helpful.

Cons:

It’s on a hill so walking up from town might be hard work!
