Highly recommend!
Pros:

Wonderfully appointed rooms. Spacious! Staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely old building, nicely updated and retaining the historic charm. Great location!

Bed really clean, staff are friendly, but otherwise overly praised and charged

Bed is super clean and no need for additional cover
Quiet

Cons:

The whole room smells like blocked drain
Not able to air the room, all the windows are sealed
Minibar was filled with their own alcohol and I had to shove everything to a different shelf to put my own stuff
Room is tired a lot of stuff need replacing
Quite dusty
Walk carefully in the bathroom so you don’t slide
The whole dinning hall smell like sweat and seats are quite dirty

Perfecte tussenstop voor de terugreis
Pros:

Mooie, ruime kamer voorzien van alle gemakken. Goed ontbijt in de pub onder het hotel.

Het hotel ligt in een gezellige stad met veel winkels, horecagelegenheden en een kasteel met een mooi park om in te wandelen.

Er is beperkte parkeergelegenheid in de straat van het hotel, maar op de grotere parkeerplaatsen (bij Waitrose) is voldoende plek. Vanaf daar is het slechts een paar minuten lopen.
