位置可以
不干净
Rundum perfekt.
Clean and comfortable. Owner kindly let us stay a few hours after checkout so that I could take work calls. Good for money and would recommend to anyone travelling to Sapa.
It was wifi, hot showers and the location was very good, AC in the room to make it warmer.
First night there was another 3 girls in the room that left in the morning so I was alone. The guy at the reception came to" clean" the room, I expected him to change the sheets in the beds where the girls slept but he didn't , he only made the bed, rearranging the blanket and the pillow which I found extremely disgusting and disrespectful for the clients of the hostel.
When I first got into my bed I could tell the sheets are not clean, they didn't smell like clean and it was even small breadcrumbs in the bed but I thought it's just a wrong impression because expecting clients with clean sheets it's the bare minimum in any place. But it turnt out to be true. I didn't tell anything to the guy because he s kinda rude and doesn't speak English anyway. I hope he at least washes the towels....
The place in general is dirty, even leaving my backpack on the floor seemed disgusting, the floor was so dirty.
Another thing I didn't like is that the hostel charges you money to leave the backpack at their place till whenever your bus time is.my bus was at 21:30 so I asked if I can leave my backpack there but they charge 50k till 21:00 and from 21-00: 100 k. Personally, I Ve never seen that anywhere. It's very greedy in my opinion and disrespectful.
Only stayed for one night, but absolutely loved the people at the hostel reception. They were very kind and friendly, and showed me how everything worked in the room.
Clean and comfy room, comfy mattress which was perfect for the cold and foggy nights in Sapa. Conveniently located next to shops and restaurants - would highly recommend!
Cheap and in good location
Not very clean, male staff member visiting female rooms just to “check” if everything is ok (?), no space for luggage
Un rapport qualité prix imbattable, lit confortable malgré un manque d’espace
Arriving in the middle of the night was no problem, which was a big factor in my choice of hostel. (It's an easy 15-20 minute walk from the main bus station but taxis are available at all hours - Sa Pa does not sleep!).
If you just want a base for doing your own thing, it's ideal - a very central location for shops, bars & restaurants, if that's your thing, and easy to get onto trekking routes or take a Grab further out.
The host is a lovely, kind man who doesn't speak much English but has infinite patience with Google translate and really wants to help.
The room was clean and the pods give privacy (and, along with the big duvets, a little extra warmth in the cold Sa Pa nights). Mattresses and pillows are confortable and linens felt clean. The hostel also provided a small towel which was very nice of them.
There's a bathroom in the dorm room and another on each landing, with extra washbasins in the hallways, so there's never a wait.
Overall this is good, simple accommodation at an excellent price - very good value.
This is a place to use as a base, but isn't social as there's no common space - which is fine if that's what you're looking for, but don't go there hoping to meet people.
I would have loved access to a water dispenser (especially hot water for making tea as Sa Pa was very cold during my visit) but considering the price of the hostel itself, buying your own water & coffees from local shops is no hardship at all.
There are no lockers; this didn't bother me at all - someone was always on duty downstairs and I never doubted the safety of my belongings - but maybe bring a lock & padlock your bag to the bed frame if that would be a concern to you.
I love that the duvets were so big... but as the pods are more narrow than usual, they seem to take up a lot of that small amount of space!!
