We stayed one night at Wild Le Green as a couple and absolutely loved it. The hotel is in a quiet, green location perfect for visiting Udawalawe National Park — just a short drive away.
Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with a lovely balcony overlooking the garden. The bed was very comfortable after a long day of travel, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The bathroom was modern and spotless with good hot water.
The highlight was the beautiful swimming pool with stunning views — we had a relaxing dip in the evening and it felt very private and peaceful. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel truly welcome. They even helped arrange our safari for the next morning without any hassle.
The food at the restaurant was delicious! We enjoyed both dinner and breakfast, with fresh, tasty options and generous portions. Everything felt homely and well-prepared.
For a one-night stop before/after a safari, this is an excellent choice. Great value, peaceful atmosphere, and warm hospitality. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to other couples or anyone looking for a relaxing base in Udawalawe.

Location of the hotel was very close to the national Park.
We think the owner forgot our booking as we arrived to locked gates & had to wait for 30 mins to be let in. We were being picked up for our morning safari at 5:45 am & we went outside to the gates locked again so no way of getting out. With the help of our safari guide we had to climb over a 6ft wall to get out.
the rudest personnel at the reception who I have ever meet at any hotel in any country. they don't even try to help ,just turn their back to me. the messed up my booking, sold the room to walk-in guests , let me alone at dark without any help or even few human words and they did not even apologize for their mistake. lowest level.avoid this place at all cost
