The Alam Bungalow & Restaurant

The family that runs the place is amazing and always made sure everything’s perfect and that there’s no problem with the bungalow.
What made the stay even better was that you could watch the prettiest sunrise while laying in bed.
There also many activities organised, like walking, hiking or waterfall tours.

The bungalow was minimalistic but had a great sunrise view. Overall good value for money.
We took a cooking class with the owner Fuji who is lovely. She showed us how to cook the dishes we wanted with only whole ingredients and the result was very tasty.

An amazing view, worth every dollar. We will never forget the experience and thanks to the team who made it so memorable. Special thank you to Daniel for always having a smile on his face when helping us and making us laugh, and to Semi for being the “president of tetebatu” his driving skills are exceptional and unmatched. My daughter was entertained by the kittens also thanks so much for a wonderful trip !

THE VIEWS! What a beautiful location this is. In the middle of the rice fields and forest. Everything shows that the Alam team puts their heart in making the surroundings look so special.

We had the honor of being the first guests to stay in the brand new deluxe bungalow. Waking up watching the sunrise over Rinjani Vulcano from the bed. Nice deck to enjoy the views from. Very good (and warm!) shower. Truely a great experience! 10/10

They arranged a pick up from Bangsal pier where we stopped at waterfalls (Benang kelambu) on the way to Tete Batu. 10/10

We also did the walking tour with the best guide ever. He took us deep into the rice fields, walking the narrow strips in between. Really cool experience. Our guide explained so much. Great way to learn and see how the village works. 10/10

Cooking class in their own kitchen was really fun. 10/10

And last: Very little mosquitos and a bit cooler temp compared to Gili Air.

Le Bungalow est propre et confortable avec une salle de bain spatieuse et très propre elle aussi. La vue est incroyable. Le restaurant est très bon et raisonnable au niveau des prix. Le personnel est adorable, on se croirait à la maison. La localisation est juste parfaite parce qu’on peut faire beaucoup de chose à pied.

Amazing value for money and the staff are all really really kind. Very nice if you are looking for somewhere secluded and off grid. Staff are willing make pretty much anything for you and even pick some things fresh from the garden! They have a few activities you can do for a good price. After our tour, we spent most of our time just relaxing in the restaurant looking at the view, the kittens kept us entertained. - Kiera & Love

Für ein Aufenthalt in Tetebatu vielleicht mit der Beste Ort zum übernachten. Sowohl die Hausherren als auch Danil von der Rezeption haben uns sehr familiär aufgenommen und super behandelt. Wir haben viel geredet und gelacht, obwohl wir nur 2 Tage (1 Nacht) gebucht haben. Preis-Leistung war ebenfalls unschlagbar. Vielleicht sieht man sich eines Tages noch einmal.

Une équipe exceptionnelle aux petits soins. Une vue incroyable sur les rizières et le mont Rinjani (le lever de sol en prime). Cuisine locale très bonne.
Merci à toute l'équipe pour cet accueil. Merci à Udin d'avoir partagé avec amour sa culture, merci à Lana, Penji et Dani pour mon petit-déjeuner surprise pour mon anniversaire, merci à Fuji pour la leçon de cuisine et la chambre.

La gentillesse des hôtes, et mention particulière à Udin qui s’est occupé de nous pour les activités en dehors de l’hébergement.

We enjoyed the great views from our balcony out over rice fields and trees towards Gunung Rinjani. The on-site restaurant was also handy.

Die Unterkunft liegt sehr idyllisch innerhalb von Reisterrassen. Da diese abgeschieden liegt, empfiehlt es sich vor Ort im Restaurant zu essen. Das Essen ist eine 10/10! Über die Unterkunft können Ausflüge gebucht werden. Die Walking Tour und die Villagetour kann man nur empfehlen - Udin hat sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben und Zeit genommen einem die Gegend zu zeigen. Ohne Guide würde man nicht so tief in Tetebatu eintauchen können.
Vor Ort kann man Hilfe bei der Weiterreise bekommen.

The property is beautifully located with an amazing view of mount Rinjani in the mornings and evenings, and beautiful rice paddy views all day. Daniel and Udin were fantastic hosts, they went above and beyond to be extremely friendly and funny. We cannot recommend the walking tour enough. The restaurant has some of the best food we have had in indonesia, we loved the tempe sambal. Cant recommend the Alam enough!
