For sure the location is super convenient, BTS station is about 5 mins walk and 8 mins to the Sathon Ferry pier which is a great way to go to Icon Siam!
Definitely need updates. Especially inside the property itself, the room furnitures quite dated and the mattress was super hard which was really difficult to have a comfortable sleep. Previously stayed at other Oakwood properties but they were very nice.
It was all ok
Good location, clean and well equipped self servicing room. Breakfast good variety and quality of food (local and international).
A/C needs a good dust swipe and shower head in the shower room was not working. (The shower head in the bathtub worked fine).
Huge breakfast selection. Polite helpful staff. Near the river ferries and the trains. Shopping centres within walking distance.
Three beers for 199 Baht great special.
Close to the stations, street food, mall, had excellent parking and entry for cabs and bikes.

The staff were very helpful and kind, always willing to assist with any requests or questions I had. Special thanks to Ms. Klao from Customer Services for her outstanding support and professionalism throughout my stay.
I booked a dinner cruise through the hotel (Smile Riverside). Although I arrived early and was among the first passengers to board, I was rudely directed to a seat at the back and was not allowed to sit near the front of the stage.
The main attraction of the cruise was the live show, so being seated behind the stage made the experience very disappointing. To watch the performance, I had to leave my seat and stand awkwardly in front of other guests.
At no point was I informed that front-row seating required an additional payment. From what I understood, all tickets were sold at the same price, so this arrangement did not make sense to me. If there were different seating categories, this should have been clearly communicated before the booking was made.
Overall, I would not recommend this experience. It was not worth the money or the time I spent on it, and the lack of transparency regarding seating arrangements significantly affected my enjoyment of the cruise.
The location was good
We arrived the hotel at about 1 pm and we paid for our room and after that the workers said checked in time is 2 pm whic is okay. we dropped our luggages and walked around and came back at almost 3 pm. They said there is a problem and our room was not ready. And they didnt say anything else. We waited about 40-50 minutes and they gave us a room. We booked a room which has 2 double bed but they gave us 2 single (attached to one another) bed. When we entered the room, it was not quite clean. It was a bad experience.
Great location ! So Close to BTS which is already a huge plus , plus close to massage places . I also liked the breakfast which had a good selection of various cuisines . Great value for money
The Wi-Fi in my room was NOT working at all … I had to keep RENEWING and Logging In every 5 Minutes !!! I am serious … it was very disappointing … I assumed this was “normal “ and did not tell reception till I was already leaving … too late ! It would have made my experience completely more Satisfying
