We would come back
Pros:

The location is fantastic, we found everything to be a 10 minute walk or less away and there were so many shops and places to eat on the doorstep. We extended our stay by another night because there was so much to do.
The room itself is lovely, spacious, great shower pressure and comfortable beds. The hosts have great communication and the staff we met were lovely.

Cons:

The noise. The walls are really thin and it's located above a restaurant/bar. Of the 3 nights 2 of them I didn't get to sleep until 2.30am and there was still a lot of noise from downstairs.
Also, if you have a bad back like I do, there are a lot of stairs to climb to get to the room. This may be my fault for not reading the description properly.

Clean, comfy, so close to York Munster. Excellent!!!
Pros:

Very friendly staff. Good to have a door bell to call someone who can come to help to get the key for a self-check in hotel, this is really a big relief for me. If we go to York again will definitely stay here again if they have suitable rooms.

Nice room but extremely noisy

Beautiful room and very central

Cons:

The shower is tiny, rooms could do with more lamps. initially thought the central location was a plus. I was provided with ear plugs and you most definitely need them. It was like trying to sleep in a night club!! The music and noise went on til about 2am.

Great choice for accommodation
Pros:

Everything. Fantastic location, room was comfortable, clean and tidy. Bathroom really good and clean, so there’s nothing to add, because we’re really satisfied.

Cons:

It’s a little thing, but only some cabinet for clothes, also in the bathroom for some things to put on. But that’s a detail, overall all was great in the room

I really loved my stay here. What I appreciated the most was how everything had been thought through down to the smallest details. There was complimentary bottled water, crisps and earplugs, as well as both a fan and a heater, which was a lovely touch.

The shower was excellent, and there was everything you could need, including soap, shampoo and other toiletries. You can really tell that the hosts have put a lot of thought into making guests feel comfortable. I really appreciated all these little details and would definitely recommend this place!

Cons:

It was a little noisy from the street at times, as the extractor fan would occasionally come on during the night. However, earplugs were provided, so it wasn’t really a problem

The room was massively overpriced, the finish and overall feel had crack den undertones, the bed was horrific and uncomfortable isn’t the word i didn’t sleep a wink. The noise outside till 5am can only be compared to an active warzone, Apart from hot running water I’d of been better staying in a doorway outside greggs. I will have trauma shudders over that room for some time Diabolical stay NEVER AGAIN
