Worth a few days for a beach stay
Pros:

Direct beach access with local facilities close, this small upper storey appartment was basic but pleasant to stay in for 3 nights. This village was quiet and the neighbourhood safe. The snall plunge pool and garden was refreshing to use when not on the beach or on the provided loungers underneath the palm trees fringing the beach. Have already recommended this appartment to 30+ yrs family members going to Costa Rica.

Nothing stands out, generally acceptable re basics and price

Appartamento vista mare e letteralmente a due passi dalla spiaggia paradisiaca. Esterillos è un villaggio tranquillo e dalle vibes pazzesche. L'appartamento è pulito e perfetto per un soggiorno rilassante! Staff disponibile.

Cons:

Avrei apprezzato una cucina un po' più fornita, con qualche utensile in più e sale/zucchero da poter usare.

Pros:

Emilio and Jasmine are wonderful hosts that serve an awesome breakfast and are very helpful in any way needed.

Cons:

The building is old, so sometime the electric or water may temporarily take a short vacation. But the rooms and property are immaculately clean.

Bed too small and mattress very soft. The 2 rooms and bathroom were very tiny. Could not get the suicide shower to provide hot water.

Gastvrij verblijf in een rustige oase.
Pros:

De ligging direct aan het strand, de uitstekende service van Emilio en zijn vrouw (o.a. smakelijke diverse ontbijten), de ara's op oogafstand, de wandelmogelijkheden in beide richtingen langs het strand, de poeltjes in zee bij eb, de mogelijkheden om te body boarden, zwemmen en surfen. Bushalte dichtbij (alleen bij aankomst ging de bus de hoofdweg niet af, dus moest er 1.5 km gelopen worden met koffers). Restaurants op loopafstand.

Cons:

Er kwam in het begin een zwavelgeur uit de douchekraan en aan één kant van het bed was een beetje een kuil.

Seconds away from the sands of the beach!
Pros:

The location cannot be beat. The ocean is within 20 large steps of the staircase. We spent Christmas Eve, Day, and the next morning boogie boarding on the waves with good rental boards from Brett's Boards just behind the property. It's a family owned apartment and they were all very accommodating to us the entire time of our stay. The pool was always clean. The showers near it were useful for rinsing off sand off out bodies after boogie boarding.

Cons:

The apartment has been set up to accommodate up to four sleeping adults, but I really would have preferred the kitchen area having a table with seats rather than a sofa futon. The cabinet doors also need to be tightened down, but those are small issues when considering how much fun we had playing on the beach.

A budget resort right on the beach.

Pros:

Emplacement fantastique avec une très belle plage en face, à l écart de Jaco heureusement mais il y a tout ce qu il faut à 100m du logement

Overall Nice place with lovely beach.
Pros:

Breakfast was very good and delivered to our door.
Nice little pool. The property is Located right on the beach.
Beach was lovely.
Apartment kitchen lights did not work upon arrival but owner Emilio was quick to repair this.
Nice balcony overlooking the water.

Cons:

The lock on the sliding door was difficult to use.
The single pull out bed was not the most comfortable.

Pros:

Emplacement les pieds dans l’eau à condition d’avoir l’appartement numéro 1 à l’etage avec terrasse face à la mer. Magnifique plage , plusieurs petits restaurants à 2 pas ainsi qu’un petit supermarché. Endroit tres famille et tres calme en debut de saison.
