Everything about this stay felt exceptional. The château is beautifully set away from the hustle and bustle, offering a sense of calm, space, and timeless elegance. The property itself is stunning, surrounded by vineyards, and steeped in the history of winemaking. Our room was spacious and tastefully designed, and the bed was incredibly comfortable—we slept like babies.

The wine tasting included in the stay was an unforgettable experience: insightful, generous, and deeply connected to the land and its traditions. We learned so much about viticulture and the cultivation of the vine, which added real depth to our visit. Breakfast was delightful—simple, refined, and enjoyed in such a beautiful setting that it felt like stepping into a fairytale from another era.

Dinner at the restaurant was impeccable. The cuisine was refined and thoughtful, with flavors beautifully layered and harmonized. The presentation, quality, and balance of the dishes reflected a true respect for gastronomy. Highly recommend for short stay
Pros:

Excellent breakfast. Reception on arrival was also very good. We arrived early so were given the opportunity to relax in the spa area until our room was ready. We were travelling to France from Australia so the location, only a short drive from Bordeaux airport and Bordeaux was perfect to relax and recover from jet lag.

Cons:

A basic map of the walking trails in the grounds of Chateau Leognan would have been nice to have but not essential

Jammer dat we een metalen buitenrand op moesten ( met hond) ik wist dit niet van tevoren

Pros:

Amazing nature landscape. Perfect to relax and enjoy nature and good wine. Spa services are very nice. Restaurant food was really good and tasty.

Cons:

During winter is cold inside and outside. It would be helpful to have a better heating system.

Pros:

La réactivité du personnel au problème de notre salle de bain glacée. Changement de chambre immédiat. La présente du personnel et sa bienveillance dans ses conseils. Le parc est superbe et le château comme la propriété sont très bien entretenus.
