Hotel mit Zimmern mit toller Aussicht
Pros:

Großes Hotel mit geräumigen, sauberen Zimmern und bequemem Bett. Die Aussicht in den oberen Zimmern ist sehr schön, mit Blick auf das Meer und die Seilbahn.
Lage ist prima, wenn man mit der Seilbahn fahren möchte und in der Nähe des Schiffterminals sein möchte.
Abendessen war sehr lecker. Aufgrund des Tetfestes waren wir fast du einzigen Gäste und trotzdem war abends alles verfügbar.

Cons:

Personal war super unorganisiert, wir wurden zuerst in ein benutzes Zimmer geschickt. Keiner wusste so recht was zu tun war.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr klein und überschaubar, dies war aber vermutlich dem Tetfest geschuldet, weil kaum Gäste da waren.

Pros:

Beautiful view of Ha Long Bay. Clean and decent room and bathroom. Friendly housekeeping staff. Gym is small but usable with a beautiful bayview. Room service was good. Ten minutes ride to Ha Long city.

Cons:

Breakfast ends too early at 9am. Breakfast area, lobby are not air-conditioned. Safety wise on the poorer side due to lack of cctvs, lack of identification to use hotel lifts, hotel corridors quite dim.

Pros:

The hotel is relatively new, hence in good condition. I booked for a bigger room so it’s comfortable. The water pressure in the shower is excellent but drainage is poor and took a long time to drain.
The location is good as it has ocean view, however you need to walk around 15 mins to a swimming beach. Around 500 meters from the hotel is a local market with lots of restaurants. The breakfast buffet has lots of options but they don’t replace food after it runs out so you need to get there early.
It took me an additional trip to get to the hotel. I’m told there are 6 Muong Thanh hotels in Ha Long, so you need to specify which one to your driver.
