Leider kein richtiges Fenster nach draussen. Zimmer nicht besonders schön. Viel zu teuer!

Super freundlich und hilfsbereites Personal, wir haben Frühstück erhalten obwohl wir ausserhalb der Zeiten ausgecheckt haben. Direkt am Meer mit schöner Gartenanlage.

Cons:

Im ganzen Dorf ist es sehr laut (Musik) - obwohl die Unterkunft am Rande ist, hat man es sehr gut gehört. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte für uns nicht.

I loved my stay at HC Liri hotel. I'd recommend it to anyone and would definitely come back! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Over the bookings messages, they responded to questions very quickly. I arranged pick up from the airport through them and it worked smoothly. Each day upon waking up we would be greated with coffee, fresh fruit, and a fruit juice while the kitchen staff would begin to cook our delicious meal. The garden pool was beautiful and clean. The hotel itself is in a great location as it is just a short beach walk to the city, but far enough away where it is very quiet and peaceful.

Cons:

The room itself was very basic, but it definitely met all my needs and was very clean!

Pros:

This was a nice quiet hotel about a 5 to 10 minute walk across the beach to the town of San Juan del Sur. The owner was there every morning to help with the great breakfast and to offer help with planning or deal with any issues at the hotel. The rest of the staff were all pleasant and helpful when needed. Very enjoyable stay.

A wonderful, easy start to our Nicaragua adventure.
Pros:

The hotel was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Staff were unfailingly polite, cheerful and helpful, booking cabs for us and trying to help when I stuffed up my flight booking. Free coffee all day was a bonus and the breakfasts were tasty and filling. There were lovely verandas with hammocks for guests to use and a garden with swimming pool. I would definitely stay again.

Cons:

Perhaps a safe in the room.

Good hotel on the beach, close to town with great terraces and open spaces.
Pros:

The hotel is well located right on the beach. The second floor balcony overlooking the pool and the beach is a fantastic place to relax. The pool is reasonably large and great to swim In. Our room with two beds was basic but had plenty of space for two people. The breakfast was excellent. The hotel is close to town, just a few minutes walk on the beach, but far enough away to be out of the noise and bustle of town. During high tide, one needs to wade through a small river to get to town, but that’s no problem, especially if one has water shoes or sandals.

Cons:

There was an odd smell in our room when we arrived, which we tracked to a deodorizer stick that we moved out of the room then all was good.

We had a good time at this hotel and enjoyed the peace and quiet away from town centre.
Pros:

Located 15 minutes walk from the town centre, with a good view of the beach. Nice big terraces with good views. Efficient staff took good care of guest meals in the morning. The pool was nice.

Cons:

All terraces are shared so there are no private balconies. San Juan del Sur Beach looks impressive but is littered with garbage.
