The Shurland Hotel

Thw room looked tired as did the whole of the hotel. The noise from the bar was very loud . String and tape holding up a curtain rail isn't a goos repair.

Not enough plug sockets noisy air con and security light kept coming on

Shortage of staff, room decor worn and dated. Room was at the front of the property and the early morning deliveries could be heard taking place while you're trying to sleep.

there’s nothing to dislike

Camera non conforme alla prenotazione fatta e colazione compresa nel prezzo ma in realtà era con un costo aggiuntivo

La camera era totalmente diversa da quella prenotata (mancanza Internet, letto diverso, bagno diverse, no Internet, …).

Abbiamo concordato cancellazione della prenotazione ma alla fine la struttura non mi ha rimborsato quanto concordato

The kitchen could have served better quality continental breakfast food. No landline phones in the rooms to ring reception, no fridge, no hooks in the bathrooms to hang your towels. Location right on the corner of two roads.

Room very small (not big enough for 2 adults), very hot room, no air circulation not very clean, i could go on but i wont, not very happy at all. Pictures on website need updating.
Checked out, couldn't stay there, found alternative accommodation.

Everything not clean poor food

Rooms was very hot we had window open but no fans very outdated and some place in the room could use extra attention when cleaning. And I didnt like the couple that came in at 11.30 and was shouting swearing banging having an argument then another man came in this went on till almost 1am not great sleep

This has to be the dirtiest and most run down hotel I have ever seen. There are absolutely no redeeming features. We had the displeasure of staying here for two nights as we had to attend an event in the area. If there had been any other option in the area we would have left immediately. I would consider myself to be well travelled and have visited some underdeveloped countries but I have never come across a hotel, hostel or any other type of accommodation on a par with this place. It's definitely a place that you need to wipe your feet on the way out rather than on the way in. It seems that booking.com will advertise anything.

Fire alarms going off early morning

It could do with some money spent on it but it is a value hotel. There is a pub opposite but with the window shut it’s fine.

Arrived at hotel, checked in, went to room and straight said not staying here, room was small, Bed was against the wall, not suitable for 2 people, walls were dirty, only 1 socket in the whole room, Small TV fixed to Wardrobe unable to open doors unless moved the TV

The outside patio was covered in weeds with a overflowing bin which was not emptied for 3 days.Room was very shabby,dirty but bedding and towels was clean.The whole hotel needed a good refurb.
