Heel vriendelijk personeel, heel gastvrij. Met zorg ingericht en een eigen koelkastje
Er was een heel gezellig restaurant/bar beneden. Stopte echt wel op tijd maar soms staan mensen dan buiten nog te praten
Basic but decent room
The bar stopped serving food early and wasn’t anywhere else to eat

Room 3 has a door next to 'boiler /heating ' control unit(s)airing tank which was routinely clicking and a bit of a nuisance.
Furniture is dated ,tired . Decor poor,no working blind in bathroom ,tied and knotted.
No safety bath mat..hazard in large shower
Flooring is tired and a general lack of attention to detail.
Maybe the other rooms are nice but this one needs loving up

Could be cleaner and one of the mattresses was so soft one could feel the bed boards underneath
A lively village pub, so nice to be ‘part of it’ and staying upstairs. My single room had a separate shower room toilet and a mini hallway, it was lovely. We had a smashing (vegetarian) Sunday roast. Great location at the top of the high street. Good bus service to Alnwick and Amble.
Fairly small range of eateries in the village- book a table for dinner!
Water problems in estuary at time of visit, swimming not recommended - water company get your act together.

Clean and cozy. Excellent location, nice pub downstairs, beds were comfortable and the stay was overall very pleasant.
At this price point I would hope for a proper breakfast. There was a little one at the room ready for us, though.

I probably knew the pub would be shut on Monday - but, forgot. It's a good job the pub opposite is great too.
On arrival the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was a really good size and the beds were very comfortable. In a good location if you want to stay in a village with tourist locations within driving distance
Nice cosy pub. Staff were very friendly . Comfortable bed and good location for village and bus stop not too far away.
The room wasn’t so good . Carpet was dirty and bathroom paint peeling from walls. Not enough sockets . Had to unplug TV to put the kettle on and boil it on the floor as the flex didn’t reach the top of the fridge which was used as the work surface.
The location was good and the room was pleasant.
I felt that the room did not justify the price. For the price, there should have been small things such as glasses in the room as well as cups, and even a bottle of water. There needed to be more attention to detail to justify that price, even given the location.
To be honest nothing really, we didn't stay the next night and had to find alternative accommodation. Due to the fact it was rated as deluxe and was far from the mark.
Dirty and stained carpets, dirty marks and grime on the walls and radiator, mould in the bath room with peeling paint on the walls, lampshade grubby and damaged.
Lovely welcoming place we were lucky to be there on pie night 👍
