No AC in room
Our room was big with a comfortable bed and a large bathroom.
No parking on property, loud street noise and from the bar downstairs, no one to contact, not enough towels, no USB ports to charge phones, felt like a hostel not a hotel.
Everything.. i deff loved it and also loved that even tho its on main street there was a minimum outside noise !! 10/10
I did not dislike anything
Room was clean and comfortable, although fairly small. Location is good, near several cute coffee shops and restaurants. Bar downstairs was nice, and bartender was very friendly and tun to talk to.
We experienced several problems. The rooms are over a bar, but that is not the real problem since the sound is muffled and the bar closes at midnight. The problem was the loud, drunken conversations that took place outside and lasted until about 2 a.m. Because there is no a/c, it was uncomfortable to close the windows, and even closing the windows didn't really diminish the noise. The real problem was that the morning when we were ready to check out, we left our luggage in the room while eating breakfast and the door code did not work, denying us access (the outside door codes did work, so the problem was specific to the room door). We texted, called, and emailed the help number, but it was two hours before we were able to get access to our luggage. This caused us to miss some sightseeing we had planned for the day - thank goodness we didn't have anything more critical like a plane to catch.
Felt like a hostel. Loud music playing downstairs until 2am
The rooms are decent. However, for a one-night stay that cost $424.64, this experience only deserves one star.
If you’re planning to sleep, don’t expect to get any rest until at least 4 AM. The music from the bar downstairs is unbelievably loud, and the main door is so squeaky and slams loudly that you hear every person coming and going all night long.
To make matters worse, the toilet was dirty, with the bottom of the seat soiled upon arrival. There is also no hotel parking—you have to search for street parking (though at least they do disclose this in advance).
A place like this might be worth around $150 a night, but at over $400, it’s simply unjustifiable.
Clean room
Parking
It's affordable and clean. You're unable to adjust the thermostat and sleep above a bar so hear them all night.
The highlights: Communication by the property manager was excellent. I was able to contact the landlord directly via text and that was very helpful. Instructions were very clear. The location felt safe despite being above a bar, which made it feel safer since there are people in the area keeping an eye on everything. You need to pass through three coded doors to get to your room. There's plenty of parking on the street like the manager states. The room was incredibly neat and clean and felt new. Sems like it's recently renovated. The bed and comforter were incredibly comfortable and I was very pleasantly surprised. The room, bed, and experience really felt like hotel quality. The room is small but excellent for one person or a couple that is out and about and just need a place to rest their head overnight. They had complimentary coffee and the location is in a walkable area with coffee shops and bars all around.
Lowlights: the only minor issue I had with the location was that for two nights out of my 3-day stay the location was so loud that it was hard to sleep. I couldn't tell if the loud music and karaoke were coming from the bar downstairs or from the other guests in the rooms. It was difficult to sleep for 2/3 nights I spent there. Make sure you are exhausted or drunk before heading back to your room to sleep soundly. The next day in the morning there were trucks and cars all around you. You can hear pretty much everything. Despite that, I enjoyed my stay and felt safe.
Clean room, conveniently located. Not very spacious and could hear other neighbors who were staying as well
Noisy location. I should’ve read the reviews more carefully. This place sucks
It’s over a bar it was vibrating. It was close to traffic. It was no
The hotel room was compact but spotless, equipped with a coffee maker, fridge, closet, bathroom, and small desk. We had a minor issue with the self check-in, so make sure to press the home button and enter the code upon arrival; don’t forget to press the lock button when you leave!
There’s no parking on-site, but you can find offsite parking along Main Street or at the Post Office for up to 2 hours. The bar downstairs can be noisy until 3 AM, so be prepared for a late night. The location is excellent, with easy access to Southampton, Bridgehampton, and East Hampton, plus a nearby train station.
We mainly slept at night and spent our days exploring, which worked perfectly for us.
It is rather small but extremely clean, very comfortable bed and linens and well equipped with very nice toiletry products. It is everything you would need to be close to all the Hamptons activities but priced affordably. You would not want to spend too much time in the room as although very comfortable, not much space to walk around.
There is no front desk or anyone on premises. You are texted a code.
They should state that there is no elevator and could be difficult for people getting luggage up two flights of stairs. We were very pleased with our stay and will definitely be back.
