Value for money & good location.
Dinner at the Rye Hotel, paid $33 for a meal & couldn’t eat it. Ended up purchasing a bowl of chips for dinner, just disappointing as the ambience is lovely.
Super comfortable bed and bonus points for coffee machine and plenty of pods
It’s not like you can change the design, but who ever thought it was a good idea to have an open shower? The entire bathroom floor gets wet - I have seen this before but will never understand it!
The bed was very comfortable & location was perfect
The noisy cleaning trolleys in the morning sounded like a train coming through they need better wheels on the cleaning trolleys..The cleaning staff yelling out to each other across the facility..The hammering noise in the walls when hot water was turned on which they new about & was meant to be fixed before we arrived. The coffee pod machine failed to work properly. Light globe above bathroom sink needed replacing. Broken toilet roll holder & curtains had come out of track.
Bed, location, parking option
The heater in the room did not work all night. Also, the bathroom door is not ergonomically designed.
Been here a few times. I love that the pool os heated well and can swim in the winter time, the spa is hot and there is lots of restaurants and eateries aroung so location is great
Location - a very short walk to local eats. Some staff were warm and welcoming.
No sound proofing, could hear everything. When someone was having a shower in another room or using the taps, you could hear the water running loudly. Tissues weren’t provided - feel like this is a simple in room basic to have. We asked for some but all they had was toilet paper.
Although there is not much that can be done about cars and our room being right next to the carpark, if there was better sound proofing of the walls could block out the sound more as its noisy from drive thru bottle shop, people leaving the pub, guests talking loudly throughout the night.

It is of a higher standard than a great many places l have stayed. The room was done while l was away during the 2nd day without me asking which was very nice to come back to.
Water hammer if the tap wasn't fully turned on may have disturbed other guests?
