Lamentablemente entre la aplicación y el alojamiento, cancelaron mi reservación y después de un acuerdo, de devolución de anticipo, me dicen que no es posible una semana después. Muy mal el servicio en ambos casos.
El servicio y atención del establecimiento y que no cumpla su palabra y acuerdo de devolución de anticipo. La razón fue por untema de cargos no reconocidos en mi tarjeta y no fueron para realizarme una confirmación vía telefónica o por mensaje.

Muy amigable todo el personal, me encantó que es un ambiente 100% familiar, limpieza en todos los lugares, WiFi gratis y de alta velocidad y estacionamiento en el lugar.
Un poco de ruido en general por estar muy juntas todas las habitaciones pero no resta a la experiencia.

Very friendly hotel host who spoke good English and was able to give us a lay of the land in mazunte. Very basic hotel without amenities but it was clean and had A/C.

Sewage smell from the tiny bathroom, no safe, no fridge, no tv (which I would have expected at that price point). Quite noisy. Between the small and the noise, it was difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bathroom shower dripped and the floor was constantly wet. It seemed to be quite overpriced for what we got.

Rooms 2 and 3 are extremely noisy, as the wooden door and windows are 2/3 meters from the main road.
No room sound isolation. Trucks and cars wake you up 6:30/7.

Friendly owner, good location in mazunte
Not good value for money for what we paid, however granted it was peak season.
The owner is super friendly and helpful. I needed a 'transition' place to stay for 2 nights after my previous rental ended. This place was affordable, close to the main road so I could easily grab a taxi in the morning (the owner was very helpful with this) to make it to my bus out of Pochutla. Safe for a solo female, and walkable to everything I needed (beach, restaurants, shops). The room was spacious and comfortable enough. The fan helped keep me relatively cool in the sweltering May heat. The hammock in the room was a nice touch.
A bit too noisy for a long term stay, with the sounds of traffic on main road, and construction noise starting early in the morning (May 2023). I often had to close the front (street-facing) door for privacy and minimizing of noise, which left me with little ventilation or airflow (just a smaller window at the back of the room). Thank goodness for the fan! ;) There was no drinkable water station on site. I had to buy bottled water.
I was looking for a place very clean and Hotel Casa Mazunte was. I loved the design and the location was excelente. The owner was very helpful and always very nice.

we saw flying cockroaches and we were woken up before 8am with noisy construction outside our room.
