Amazing boutique hotel. Just everything about it was great, from the rooftop pool, to the rooms, the staff and food - loved it! During whale season you can watch them from the pool

Le design de l’hôtel , le confort de la chambre , la vue sur la marina et les lions de mer , la plage privée sur laquelle on nous emmène en bateau avec lounge chair ultra confortable et sans vague , la qualité de services 5* et l’amabilité du personnel, la piscine sur le toit qui donne envie de rester ,tout est conçu pour que l’on ne veuille plus partir !

The location on the marina, nearby restaurants, the view from the rooftop and the beach were perfect.
The alcoholic drinks were the most expensive I've ever encountered. I ended up going off property for margeritas. Even a slight deduction of the price would have allowed me to justify buying drinks on property.
The rooftop pool area and beach club were both amazing. We loved hanging out at the beach during the day and watching the sunset from the pool at night. We ate some snacks and beers at the beach club but never ate at the hotel restaurant, mostly because there were much more affordable options just down the street. Our room was super clean and had amazing linens and robes, plus a separate tub and shower. Every night we got a little sweet treat delivered to our room which was really fun!
It would be nice if breakfast was included in the price, but I understand it's a bit more of an upscale hotel. Everything else was great!
Our second time staying at El Ganzo and the hotel did not disappoint! We could see whales breaching from the rooftop pool all day for endless entertainment. The rooftop pool remains stunningly gorgeous. The hotel rooms are clean and tranquil with beautiful views of the harbor. Uber to/from San Jose del Cabo downtown was quick and convenient; we traveled there for dinner most nights instead of dining at the hotel. We will definitely be back.
The rooftop pool exterior wall needs a bit of maintenance and cocktails were inconsistent. Food and drinks at the hotel are rather expensive, but we accept the prices for the convenience, setting, and quality.

Uniqueness. Superb location. Attractive facilities. 180 degree water and marina view. Wonderful beach club with swimmable water and delicious food. Wonderful soundtrack music in public spaces. Great service.

I’m not a huge fan of music played loudly while at the rooftop pool, but I got used to it, and , to be fair, there is a quiet pool as well.

The incense that you are burning is way to strong I am a migraine sufferer and it was very triggering for me.

La struttura è adiacente alla marina di San José del Cabo in una posizione privilegiata, molto tranquilla e con una spiaggia privata dotata di ristorante, bar, lettini e cabanas. C’è un servizio di taxi boat gratuito che collega l’hotel alla spiaggia, eccezionale!
L’hotel è una struttura moderna che ospita al proprio interno delle opere di artisti che spaziano dall’arredo, alla decorazione di camere e spazi comuni. Quasi un hotel-museo, bellissimo!
Tutto lo staff è molto gentile e disponibile, ci sono due ristoranti, uno al pian terreno dove viene servita la colazione e uno sul rooftop dove si può trovare una bellissima piscina e una vista panoramica che difficilmente è riscontrabile in altre strutture della zona.
La nostra camera (King vista oceano) era molto grande con una bella vista e tutti i comfort, pulizia impeccabile!

L’hotel organizza anche degli eventi culturali e musicali che rendono il soggiorno ancora più piacevole.
Siamo stati molto soddisfatti di questo hotel e ci soggiorneremo nuovamente qualora dovessimo ritornare a San José del Cabo.

The air conditioning unit in our room was noisy
The included breakfast via Booking.com was basic. You will want to oder off the menu, but be ready to pay $50 plus for breakfast.
The roof top lounge area is excellent. Great DJ and the staff were great. I evens a Humpback Whale breach from the pool
The $ is weak now, but not as weak as their pricey cocktails. If I wanted watered down drinks I would have gone to an all inclusive resort. One of the reasons I prefer hotels, is that if you order a gin and tonic you can actually taste the gin.
Wine list was weak.
Went to a local place for breakfast one day and the food there was much better and for a 1/3 of the price.
The property is beautiful…the design of the interior, the art that is everywhere, the live music in the evenings and the outstanding food!!! The staff were professional and caring, and the amenities were outstanding…the private beach, the infinity pool, the hot tub, the lounge areas…Areas to work, read, lounge & snack!
Everything about the property was beautifully designed and ran smoothly, from the front desk to the kitchen, to the Beach Club!
