I'm glad to have found this place to rest and recuperate. Sally and the other staff took very good care of me. Dinner was fulfilling and breakfast was excellent. I slept well.
Friendly staff, nice equipped restaurant.
The room was much too small for two adults. For alcoholic drinks the staff had to go to the village to buy there. The dinner in the restaurant was prepared without any passion... not meeting the expectations. But I was compensated with a good breakfast the following day.

The bathroom was very squeezed
Affordable. Close to tsavo. Nice aesthetic. Friendly hosts. Restaurant on site. Power went out due to high winds, but hosts were doing their best to make us comfortable.
Internet issues when we were visiting
A surprise at the roadside of Kibwesi we detected through recommendation: The place looked a bit worn from the outside, but when we entered we found immaculate premises with a quiet lovely touch for details. It is a simple lodge with a lovely and gentle team of powerful women running the business. We were very fond of the service, the food and how we were treated during our overnight stay. Definitely nothing to complain - on the contrary ❤️🇰🇪
one mini minus: due to security reasons you‘re locked into the rooms quarter during the night. Wandering ouround and sitting in the patio was not possible.

- the host was very communicative, helpful and kind (helped us with all our questions and requests)
- the restaurant in the hotel is very good and cheap (and it’s nice to not have to look for food after a long day)
- the rooms are small but fully equipped and the beds are comfortable
- it was hard getting transportation but it was possible
- many many bugs! So bring some spray

Great food
Absolut VALUE FOR MONEY 👍🏼 the Lodge is situated directly on Mombasa highway, almost at half point, and is a wonderful opportunity to take a break on that tiring drive.
Staff were very welcoming and had no problems with our extremely late arrival. Superb 👍🏼
The rooms are not exceedingly large, and the beds are better for one than two people. On the other hand, everything is clean, tidy and welcoming, including soap and a bottle of water.
Breakfast is served in a small courtyard. Again everything was clean and tidy and again good value for money 😊
If you’re looking for a clean and inexpensive place to take a break on the journey to Mombasa or back to Nairobi, I can only recommend the Sunview Lodge 💪🏼😎
In my opinion, the beds are a bit small for accommodating two adults, unless you are happy with a very cosy night 😉
