Fully enjoyed having everything within my room (plus en-suite). There's a kitchenette in the room too plus, despite being in a town centre, the room wasn't overlooked.
Loved the size of the room and ironing board and hairdryer which i needed. Lovely kitchen.
A blind on the door with the frosted window would be great.
Facilities were good
How to get to the property was a nightmare and not only us as another guest also struggled and ended up knocking on our door from outside as our room had a door facing the street but not in use. We had to help her to get to the back of the property where keys are kept
Pretty bang average accommodation - it was very clean, shower was good and had amenities (hairdryer, iron etc)
The bed being next to the fire door felt very strange for two reasons:
1) there’s no curtain, presumably as it’s a fire door, so you’re woken very early by the light as the bed is directly opposite
2) slightly more weird is that because there’s no curtain, you’re <2m away from anybody leaving or entering the property, and when you’re checking in you aren’t sure which is the kitchen and which is the bedroom, so you run a high risk of a stranger just trying the door that you’re sleeping <2m away from. While the door is frosted, you can see the outline of people completely - It felt really uncomfortable
Could also do with a cheap full length mirror, perhaps just on the back of the door.
The place is very clean and comes hand with a little kitchen with all the basic stuff you need. The staff was very helpful after contacting them after hours.
The way to check in i wish if the is someone physical to check you inn and I suggest you mention it that its self check inn when booking. And also Google map keeps sending you to the wrong property I don't how it can be rectified. I had to physical ask people which takes me a good 45mins before someone said he knows the place and directed me there.
The room and facilities were top notch, stylish and cozy. Everything you need for a budget stopover.
The Key safes were very difficult to get into.
The fire door leading from the communal kitchen when we stayed in room 2 was quite annoying with the upstairs guests letting it slam right next to our room.
Location is central but just off a retail park throughout the night there were a constant stream of hgvs.
Car parking was good.
Room was really nice.
The choice of a washing machine to use if needed.
The small details, like my frying pan was flimsy and had scratches.
Non-stick coating worn away.
The metal parts of the cutlery were loose from the handles.
Someone didn't let the paint dry and left white marks.
Blinds looked like not put up properly, not flush with the window sill, leaving a gap still letting in light.
All was clean & tidy. Everything worked and location was exactly what I needed for one night. Kitchen is communal, but again very clean & tidy. I used the fridge, cutlery & bowls, so it was very useful. Obviously I cleaned up behind me.
Door and bathroom windows could use some sort of curtain or blind. This is just to stop the security light glare each time it come on (a cat or windy leave triggered the light alot). The windows were frosted, but lights obviously still comes in. I ended up hanging a towel over the door to block the window. This worked no problem.
Parking, easy to find, comfortable
Electric shower weak, stairs very steep might be an issue for older or less able bodied guests
Clean and tidy . Easy access
Difficult to find as the postcode isn’t where it is .
Nice room - comfy bed and free biscuits is always a winner. Good location and easy to get to from the main roads
Shower was a little hit and miss - struggled with water pressure
Clean. Modern. Comfortable
