The people at the front desk csn be more pleasant and welcoming. The cleaners were the most welcoming and nicest.
Pros:

It was walking distance to a lot of places. It was in a quiet area. They do free laundry cleaning and do answer very quickly.

Cons:

There are no seating areas in the room. They put a bench under the tv do you can’t sit there othered you are bending over or half your body is against the tv

Nice easy clean hotel
Pros:

Nice big clean modern rooms with lots of light :) super friendly staff and easy location !

Cons:

The breakfast is pretty and and the gym is on the roof with a glass ceiling and the air con doesn’t work so you really can’t use it.

Well-located, helpful staff, a decent gym and a handy free-of-charge laundry service. Would definitely return to this hotel if I am back in Shanghai. The location is the perfect blend of local authenticity with the hip charm of the Former French Concession.
