Experience the Galt House Hotel!
Pros:

What an iconic building in an amazing location close to everything downtown Louisville! Also had amazing views of the river and Indiana on the other side. The staff was great when we asked for them to upgrade our room! Everything was clean and comfortable. This hotel is not just a stay...it's an experience!

Cons:

At first, they gave us the wrong room. But within minutes, quickly upgraded us to an even better room than we had originally booked. And the cost of parking, which is $30/night, was also a surprise.

Great location and plenty of amenities and nice room.
Pros:

We were upgraded to a corner suite with views. The restaurant on the top floor was very nice with two rotating dining areas and views of the Ohio River.

Cons:

The parking was a bit expensive and there were two folks smoking marijuana that stunk up the area, but it was convenient with easy access to the elevators to the lobby.
