Important Warning for Booking.com Users:

I was recently cheated by a hotel I booked through Booking.com. After confirming the reservation, the hotel contacted me via the Booking.com messaging system, asking for an advance payment to a personal UPI ID. They pressured me by saying the booking would be cancelled due to high demand if I didn’t pay immediately.

I made the payment, but when I arrived, they claimed no payment was received. Since the payment was made to a personal UPI ID, Booking.com has no official record of it, and I was left without support.

Please be cautious:

Never transfer money to a personal UPI or outside of Booking.com’s official payment system.

If a hotel pressures you to make an off-platform payment, report it immediately.

It's very bad experience in this so called hotel, location is not as mentioned in the site. Very inside the market place.

I am writing with utmost frustration and anger regarding the shockingly inadequate service provided by your OYO property in Gaya, Bihar. The misleading information, fraudulent photographs, and deceitful pricing showcased by your establishment are nothing short of a scam.

I booked a room for my grieving parents who were attending a family funeral in Gaya, trusting OYO to provide a comforting and reliable stay. They were in a vulnerable state, and I expected OYO, a brand I had previously esteemed, to ease their burden. Instead, your incompetence and deceit have only intensified their distress.

Despite being a loyal customer who has even experienced your service overseas in Las Vegas, this recent ordeal has completely shattered my faith in OYO.

Here are the severe issues we encountered:
False Room Assignment: We reserved a classic triple room for three adults, but to our shock, were presented with a room containing only two single beds. It is beyond comprehension how three grieving adults are expected to fit into such inadequate accommodation, especially for a six-day stay.
Blatant Refusal of Service: When we requested a room change or simply an additional bed, the receptionists not only denied our request but did so with dismissive and callous disregard for our circumstances.
Power Outages: To add insult to injury, we endured daily electricity outages lasting 2-3 hours, with so-called alternative power solutions being mere fabrications on your website.

This appalling service leads me to believe that the glowing reviews on Google are fabricated. The names and comments in these reviews are suspiciously generic, indicating they are likely manipulated by your marketing team.
