The room is great value for money, however do not be deceived by the fact that the website details that rooms are rarely available at this location. You will note that there is good reason for it being over 40% cheaper for three nights here than one night at a well reviewed location.
The room was relatively clean, however the communal areas were unacceptable. The shared bathroom always smelt of cigarettes, of which the smell would circulate throughout the building and our bedroom as it was next to the bathroom. The bathroom was not cleaned regularly either, the kitchen was not much better with unwashed dishes and food left in pans and other appliances and even basics like communal hand towels were not cleaned, there was also no hand towel in the bathroom. We also had someone cut the grass the morning after we arrived, which was after traveling all night, we were disturbed by the noise and found this to be an unnecessary use of labor, the grass was not a priority when the rest of the house was so unclean. We also locked the front door, to then be told the next morning that the front door to the house should never be locked, meaning anyone can walk in from the street and access any of the communal areas, kitchen, fridge, bathroom, halls etc.

Location was a fair distance to city centre just 10 min taxi ride
Cleanliness, floors needed mopping ,walls yellow and in need of paint,net curtains yellow ,bathroom dead spiders and think with dust ,mould around bath and tiles in need of a new shower curtain ,shower not fixed to the wall so awkward to use fridge dirty and full of someone else’s food floor not finished in room no beading in sections
We had a lovely stay over the weekend, staff was lovely and very helpful and quick at responding. Thankyou
That u can cook and people just do there own things and say hi or good morning when they see you in the community areas
Nothing wrong about the place apart from the TV there is not much channels
