Would not stay there again until the neighborhood improves.
Pros:

Room clean and comfortable.
In town visiting family- with World Cup occurring, caused lack of room availability.

Cons:

1 block away from shipyard/dry dock area- surrounded by light industry, buildings undergoing long term renovations. On street parking, metered on Saturday morning 8:00.
Hotel- No upkeep. Swing bar lock on door was missing. Deadbolt would only engage when I lifted/pried up at the floor on latch side of door-luckily I travel with a belt multi-tool. Towel rack above the toilet was pulling away from wall, about 1”. Protective glass at front desk. Manager lacked common politeness - had problem with room keys being programmed for only 1 night instead of 2, (had to go back down to lobby) no apologies for the inconvenience. Non-guest (not homeless but…close) walked in and served himself hot breakfast, daring manager to call police.

Pros:

I had to book this hotel because my flight got canceled
It’s in a very sketchy area. The taxi rides from and to Newark airport where very expensive considering it’s 20 min
I stayed because I didn’t have a choice
There was no remote for the tv
The bathroom was not the cleanest
And there was a dead bug in the tub

Pros:

I like the fact that is was close and available and affordable the front desk staff was nice.

Cons:

I didn't like the fact that when I entered the room very tired and inspect the room before having to take a bath, that that everything was clean except for the toilet they cleaned the inside of it but the seat had urine on the cover inside and on the seat, so had to clean it before even taking a shower and I was very upset for that. I guessing that the cleaner was rushing and maybe forget it. And also the bed was too small my fiance wasn't able to sleep because the bed was too small along with the pillows.

Pros:

Decent place.. not really worth it for the kind of money you pay

Cons:

Very noisy outside at night. During breakfast you have to ask for everything, no one seems to be around to take care of the things that runs out (we asked & waited for coffee to be refilled, no bread.. no tissues.. something is always missing that you have to go look for someone to refill)
The bathroom smelled like cigarettes smoke

I enjoyed my stay
Pros:

I thought the breakfast was OK it could of been more options. I liked that the hotel was walking distance to restaurants and stores.

Cons:

The area was run down.

Cons:

It’s a non smoking hotel but it definitely smelt like someone had smoked in bathroom and breakfast was bread and some cereal in a very small room. Not what I was expecting.
