Leicester Square Studios

We stayed at this apartment in London mid August and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The place is infested with bed bugs, and our children were covered in bites. What is most concerning is that the owner was clearly aware of this issue prior to our stay. After checking reviews, we found multiple earlier reports describing the same infestation:
• July 3 – Eve
• July 9 – Neilson
• August 20 – Jan
This shows that the problem has been ongoing for months, yet the property continues to be rented out without proper treatment.
This situation is unacceptable for any guest. It is unsanitary, unsafe, and violates basic standards of accommodation.

This property is infested with bed bugs! The worst part is that the host was already aware of the issue. After my stay, I discovered that another guest had reported the same problem on a different platform just days before my arrival. Despite this, the host continued to rent out the property. This is completely unacceptable - avoid at all costs.

We booked this accommodation as it advertised washing machine and dryer, we have been travelling for a while and solely booked this accomodation to wash our clothes mid trip.. when we walked in the photos don’t match the room and there was no dryer and washing machine - gave them the benefit of the doubt, and text them to ask where it was: silence. Never replied. It’s false advertising so ask questions before booking.

Phenomenal location. Great communication. Studios are comfortable and well equipped. It can a bit noisy at night (due to busy location) and the showers are sometimes tricky to use, but these are minor issues -overall can't be happier with our stay and will definitely be back!

Amazing location, perfect for my son & I on our trip. Everything is close by &/or easy to get to. The studio had everything we needed, faced a courtyard so no noise from the hustle/bustle below & having to go up/down stairs wasn’t an issue for us. Would recommend!

Whilst the location is fantastic for a central London stay, and the property was clean and well presented, there were a few issues. Firstly, the photos are generous and the space is exceptionally small. The bed in particular is not a standard double, and it's hard to share - especially on a hot night as there is no air conditioning and just a very noisy fan. The downstairs window/door looks out to a shared courtyard, and directly opposite there is another studio and there's no curtains, so there's no privacy. (There was also a big pile of junk out there during our stay, which blocked light to one of the windows). But the major thing for me is that I left covered in bed bug/flea bites all over my body. See picture of my arm for example. I complained to Hotels.com with no answer, and I am still awaiting a reply from the owners.

Läget fantastiskt! Sängen 2-3 dm för smal för att två ska få skön sömn. Ingen AC men dock en fläkt tack och lov. Vi hade 26 grader i London under vår vistelse så det blev varmt. Vår studio låg fyra trappor upp, ingen hiss. Kan vara bra att veta.

Location is fantastic top floor apartment no lift are difficult to access

I had to chase check in details to access the property (send on day of not 48hrs prior as stated), there was a small bug in the bed, the shower was not properly screened off and the wet room set up didn't work as the drain didn't work effectively. Generally the room was well equipped but no TV ariel so everything had to load through an app. I opted for the smallest studio as it was a work trip, bigger options may be better. You have to slam the door to close which led to noise throughout the night in the corridoor.

A couple of minor kinks, but overall a good experience. Property does not have a lift/elevator, so keep that in mind. Location was excellent. A block from Trafalgar Square and National Gallery. Close to the underground and train station. Kara was very responsive when I had questions.

Obviously recently refurbished. Clean and comfortable. Small but cleverly designed and worked well. Location incredible for the price.

What a great find. Amazing apartment in a great location, will definitely stay again. The 4 flights of stairs were a chore but definitely worth it if stairs aren’t an issue for you

The property is very well situated with great restaurants and easy parking on the doorstep. The apartment itself was beautifully clean, nicely decorated and the bed very comfortable. Every amenity you could want. My only slightly less positive note was the number of stairs. If I were forewarned about them, I would have taken less with me but apart from that, it was wonderful.

Staying on business. Excellent location, brilliant communication from Kara, any issue was fixed quickly. A little noisy over night on the top floor but when you’re next door to Leicester Square it should be expected!
