We had a deluxe room in a new building that was quite lovely. The food was amazing and the owner was the kindest most helpful person you've ever met. They organized a good safari in a comfortable vehicle with lots of food for the day. The location is very close to the entrance gate.
The place is really amazing and is run by a lovely and welcoming family! It's really close to the wilpattu National Park. We did a whole day safari which is highly recommended because we saw the elephant, the Leopard and the bear in the afternoon. The driver was a pro and we had Nikki as our guide which told a lot about the different animals and kept us enthousiastic and awake (you leave at 5:30 in the morning so sometimes your mind wants te sleep during the day)
The resort had a big tower in the middle of which has a beautifull view of the sunset. All the food is home made and taste fantastic. Both the breakfast and dinner which is a buffet which different choices. We would highly recommend this place to everyone.

The meals were very good; especially the dinner buffet. Excellent cappuccino with Roshan's imported coffee machine. The safari was well organised and the driver made an effort to find the animals. Roshan gave us a free upgrade which was a nice added touch. He also got us a taxi for our onward journey.
The shower could have been a tad warmer mornings.

Genuinely one of the best experiences I had in all of my travels. The host Roshan takes customer service to another dimension. He allowed late check-in and dinner and even freely upgraded our double room to a family room just because the room wasn’t booked. We’ve never experienced such hospitality without extra costs. You notice that he’s really there to give you the best possible customer experience. A true gem of a man who is genuine and honest.
The staff is just as lovely and ensures that you are as comfortable as possible. The chef is truly amazing and made us taste true Sri Lankan cuisine.
The room is very beautiful, clean, and got everything you need. The beds are comfortable except for the pillows but this is a personal preference. The property itself is also very stunning.
The safari is well arranged but we were a bit unlucky and didn’t see that many animals during our full day safari. It stays wildlife and it’s a game of luck. Nevertheless we had a great and kind spotter and a good driver.
The only con are the pillows as they’re too soft, but this is a personal preference. If that’s the only con, you know that this is a 10/10 accommodation.
Het enthousiasme van de staf was fantastisch! Heel zorgzaam en een upgrade van onze geboekte kamer naar het nieuwe gebouw. Een modern opgetrokken gebouw van twee verdiepingen dat toch helemaal past bij de omgeving. Het uitzicht vanaf de rooftop over het omliggende nationaal park was adembenemend. Vanwege de afgelegen ligging is het logisch om aan te schuiven bij het dinerbuffet, en dat is absoluut geen straf. Heerlijk!! Echt een aanrader om vanaf dit resort te starten met een dag safari door Wilpattu NP. Wordt overigens ook perfect geregeld!!

Super vriendelijk, fantastisch avondeten, sfeer en een degelijke safari (alhoewel er minder wild te spotten is als vb in Zuid Afrika) met mooie natuur in het park. De wandelsafari is een 10 minuten wandeling naar een nabijgelegen meer.
Très bel établissement, idéalement situé pour le safari, le personnel est au petit soin pour les demandes, Roshan le patron s'occupera de tout. Un tout nouvel hôtel vient de voir le jour avec un rooftop au 6eme étage pour une vue splendide sur le bush..
Le repas du soir est un régal avec beaucoup de spécialités sous formes de buffet, un régal !
Je recommande cet endroit pour votre safari et aussi pour la quiétude et le confort des chambres, et l'accueil chaleureux de Roshan, sa femme, et toute so équipe!

Good communication with Roshan prior to arrival, really clean and great rooms. Home cooking and explanation of all the different dishes was great. Good day jeep safari with breakfast and lunch included and great guide Nicky and driver visiting Wilpattu national park a memorable experience.
Heel mooi hotel, lekker gegeten (buffet met veel verschillende curry's en andere dingen). We kregen een upgrade naar grotere kamer, ook de safari was goed geregeld en relaxed!
En de douche was heerlijk, na veel slappe straaltjes of koud water in Sri Lanka was dat super fijn!
Helaas is Wilpattu voor driekwart onbegaanbaar na de cycloon, daarvan waren wij niet op de hoogte. Daardoor ontstaat er wat meer drukte en reden we meermaals dezelfde wegen in het park op zoek naar dieren. Dat was een beetje jammer, maar natuurlijk niet iets waar het hotel iets aan kan doen!
