Pros:

The location was first class and exactly what we wanted.

Cons:

The Sunday roast was lamb which I could barely cut and was very chewy. Being a lamb lover, it was very disappointing. The veg was frozen and very watery. We ate most of it as we'd had nothing to eat since 8am and we were very hungry. I did mention the lamb to the waitress and she said she'd tell the kitchen, but we got no feedback, no apology and nothing off the bill, even though half the lamb was left on the plate, some of it I had attempted to chew.

£60 a night for a 5 night stay - it was value for money.
Pros:

Lovely big room , comfortable bed with a sea view and nice warm bathroom with a fabulous hot shower . Staff were always polite and friendly . Portpatrick is beautiful and a perfect base for us with everything we wanted to do within a hours drive .

Cons:

We stayed 5 nights and was disappointed the room was not cleaned during that time . We had to replenish bathroom essentials outselves, after 4 days we asked for bin bags to empty our bins. We spent one evening until 945pm listening to whoever was above us dragging furniture across the floor for nearly 4 hours and then it started again quite early the next morning. We noticed a huge amount of tables and chairs in the lounge area the next day and figured that may have been something to do with it. We could of course gone and complained but decided to turn up the tv which seemed to be what everyone else did - the walls are thin.

Nice location , Nice spacious family room.
Pros:

Breakfast was okay. Little under cooked sausage and haggis and tattie scone could have been crispier. Tea and coffee could have been hotter.
Fish and chips was good with lovely coleslaw.
Good pint of guiness
