Pros:

The food was incredible. The service was incredible and the staff were so helpful and were a pleasure to deal with. The facilities are great - the pool is wonderful and the rooms are comfortably furnished and the bed is outstandingly comfortable - we had a great sleep. The howler monkeys were loud but fun to watch.

Cons:

the road up is a little bit sketchy. Our car skidded out on the dirt road. I cannot imagine what it will be like in the rainy season.

It was nice, but not wow
Pros:

The included breakfast was delicious and you had lots to choose from. The kids (1.5 and 4 years) loved the waterside and pool. The staff was super friendly and the room was very clean and enormous! They made our 4 year old feel very special on his birthday. We loved the seafood pasta

Cons:

We were there at the end of the dry season so there wasn't much wildlife around. We were disappointed that to go hiking you needed to pay $25USD/person for a guide to bring you up a dirt road. There was no mention of any other hikes. You also had to pay to visit the vegetable garden, we felt lots was a money grab. The meals were quite expensive. The shuttle hours to San Juan were inconvenient for a family with young kids and the 9am pool opening was late for our lifestyle (being up early with little ones)

Bedroom air-conditioning
Pros:

In general, the facilities were up to our expectations.

Cons:

I know the rooms tried to mimic the primitive atmosphere of a forest. However, the fact that there was no air conditioning in the living room made it a little uncomfortable. Probably if they could enclose the ceiling with the bedroom and install a more powerful a/c unit for the whole room could fix it.

Pros:

Desayuno fue rico. Piscina agradable. Los monos congos muy bonito y miré un pajaro trogon, hurracas, salta piñuelas y una ardilla

Cons:

Poco cafe en el cuarto y nada de té. No habia televisor. El jardin al lado del camino todo seco. Yo esperaba mas verde mas plantas y con riego.las tortugas en la laguna artificial necesitan mas troncos para poder asolearse. Fuimos a playa remanso y majacual muy bonito.

We loved the bungalow, lovely views, amazing staff

Cons:

The day pass, having a bunch of people from outside coming to use the pool and taking all the place for themselves without giving priority for the guests who are paying way more to be there and use the facilities, I put a 7 just because of the bungalows and views, but I wouldn’t come back. They also have a free day pass, and this day was super busy we couldn’t use the main pool and sun lounges, they also changed the breakfast to be a simple buffet with no many good options, just because it was the day for free people to come in. The days before the breakfast was a la carte and it was included in the price, but suddenly they decided to downgrade it without even telling us before. There was a guests pool only, but this was abandoned, dirty, with a building site and no bar/restaurant service

i like the building and the actual design of the property

Cons:

i didn’t like that they took too long for everything, the check in was too long, same as the check out. when we order food it took so long to be served. there was no room service and everyone was so strict for everything. very unflexible. they even wanted to charge me to wash my cloth in the house we stayed in which was bungalow 1.

Presque tout! L’emplacement trop bien. On est dans la montagne, il y fait un peu plus frais que sur la côte. On est y bien. Il y a des petits singes hurleurs. C’est trop bien. Chaque balcon ont un hamac vu sur la jungle. Le resort est tout simplement trop beau, il y a des points de vues dans les arbres et la glissade d’eau est trop le fun, même adulte. La plage privée est magique.Les petits dej sont délicieux. Le service impeccable. C’est super propre et le wifi fonctionne partout. Vraiment super séjour

Il y avait des camps de jours durant la journée autour de la piscine. Les enfants étaient super content, mais imaginer une quarantaine d’enfants qui hurlent et qui court partout autour de la piscine. C’est 0 reposant. De plus, ils avait pris toutes les chaises longues donc il n’y avait plus moyens de s’étendre. Pour ce prix là c’est un peu décevant de pas pouvoir pleinement profiter de la piscine. Peut être mieux les encadrer: genre pas le droit de courir autour de la piscine, pas le droit de pousser les adultes pour passer (lol… oui oui… c est arrivé ) pas prendre les chaises longues. Ou faire une autre piscine adulte only. Bref, mis à part ça. C était vraiment super, mais au bout de 3h de hurlement c’est un peu chiant

Would definitely come back!
Pros:

A beautiful resort with friendly, helpful staff. One of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever had while on holiday.

Cons:

This isn’t specific to this hotel, but I travel alot and there are ever only fat sleeping pillows. I often sleep without a pillow because they’re too big, my husband too. For nicer places, having an option for a thinner pillow would go a long way. This is literally everywhere we stay, so not specific to you.
