The place, the old building is outstanding as well as the gardens that are beautiful.

This is a wonderful hotel, made even better by the exceptional friendly team who looked after us. The cuisine is divine.
A strange one this, but if you’re going to offer accommodation and an experience of such high quality, why give your clients cheap toilet rolls? And please, there’s no need to mark every bathroom product with “please don’t take me”. Its unnecessary.

Everything. The gardens are beautiful, the location is peaceful, room was lovely and spacious, very clean, excellent food, very pleasant staff.

Breakfast was good a bit disappointed that it was streaky bacon and not back bacon,but it was very good .

The location was excellent, never been before. Although we only stayed one night, it was worth it for that special occasion. Staff very friendly, room was beautifully decorated - stayed in the main hall. Would definitely recommend and would stay again when visiting the area.
We loved staying at the hall. The whole experience from cocktails, dinner and breakfast was very nice. The gardens are so beautiful. We really enjoyed the kitchen counter experience for our chefs menu dinner.
Nothing really. It would have been great to have breakfast outside. And the coffee should be better. Good cappuccino is required 😉.

na een autorit van 9 uur moesten wij onmiddellijk aan tafel.
5 min. voor verfrissing & andere kledij kon er niet van af.
en toch zijn er mensen langer in het restaurant gebleven.
menu opgelegd was veel te duur voor wat wij kregen.
weinig in het bord en geen top kwaliteit.

Aircon! On the hottest week of the year the rooms (being on the small side) were airless and too hot
Quite outstanding little hotel with comfortable, tasteful accommodation and delightful gardens immaculately maintained. The restaurant was exceptional in terms of food, service and ambience.

Einmalig schönes Hotel, herausragend freundliche Menschen und Gastfreundschaft auf höchstem Niveau! Wir wurden so herzlich empfangen, total schönes & sehr sauberes Zimmer. Das Badezimmer & die Badeprodukte waren ein Traum. Bar & toller Service genial. Auch das Abendessen war wirklich ein tolles Erlebnis (zugegeben: die Art der Kulinarik muss man mögen), sehr freundlich, sehr aufmerksam. So zuvorkommend & herzliche Menschen!!! Auch der Garten war ein Traum & die kleine Katze eine süße Freude. Danke!!
Had history,near me but in the country. Chatsworth was near for a walk. Great kitchen garden.lovely rooms. Upgraded with no extra charge to be together.
No dogs allowed. No pancakes for breakfast.
