A great place to stay for a break in Angers
Pros:

We stayed at this great hotel on a very hot night in May. The hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the Chateau and Office de Tourisme. The welcome we received was exceptional. The rooms were cool and clean with a great view over the Chateau. Breakfast was also fantastic with delicious coffee, croissants, bread etc etc. There was no lift ro our rooms but the stairs weren’t steep. We managed to park easily in a nearby car park.

A great place to stop on a journey south or for a weekend break
Pros:

Great position, very welcoming and helpful staff, comfy and quiet room overlooking the chateau, delicious typical “French”breakfast with huge croissants.

Cons:

Parking might be tricky but we found somewhere easily.

Le personnel. Le monte-charge pour les bagages. La situation face au magnifique château.

Pas d’ascenseur. Donc limite pour une chambre, même super au 3ème étage.

Great location and friendly staff
Pros:

The staff were all lovely, very helpful with recommendations and helping us with our bikes. The breakfast was convenient with lovely fresh bread and croissant. The room was small but comfortable with a great view of the chateau. The location is hard to beat!

Small hotel with wonderful management!
Pros:

We arrived wet and exhausted from cycling in the rain. The greeting, and help with our heavy ebikes, from the guys operating this hotel was beyond excellent. We got to our small but functional room which was very clean but without the decor or updating of newer larger hotels. The TV and desk were small, the shower worked with plenty of hot water. Linens satisfactory. There are issues with their wifi. But the best part of the stay was sitting in the small bar, that doubles as a reception area, and chatting with and laughing with the young men who manage this place. They truly made us feel welcome and will do the same for you.

Pros:

El hotel tiene una gran situación, a menos de 10 minutos a pie de la estación y justo enfrente del castillo de Angers, perfecto para explorar la ciudad desde allí. El personal era extraordinariamente amable (además hablan o entienden español). La habitación y el baño no eran muy grandes pero suficientes para una estancia corta de 1-2 noches. El desayuno no lo probamos pero tienes la opción de tomar solo un café y un croissant en el bar del hotel lo cual es una buena opción si no quieres un desayuno copioso. El precio era muy razonable.

Cons:

Las habitaciones no tienen servicios como cafetera, caja fuerte o nevera, estaría bien si pudieran incorporar alguno de estos servicios para completar su excelente acogida y la comodidad de la habitación en sí.
