Charm
Bathroom had mold.
Beds were uncomfortable
Alter abgewohnter Raum, schlecht geputzt, Reste von vorherigen Kunden hinter den Sesseln, Reisegeuppen blockieren das Restaurant, nur Tisch beim Eingang
The property was very central, our rooms comfortable. Having a restaurant that we were able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner was great. Being able to park within the grounds was an added bonus
Nothing
Pretty close to everything-short walk to castle
The heating didn’t seem to be working
Hotel was close to Stirling Castle
Rooms and hotel are tired. Much in need of updating
Considering the reviews I had read before visiting this hotel , I was pleasantly surprised at the condition of the room. Yes there were parts that were dated and needed updating but the bed was huge and comfortable and the room clean. The hotel is Situated near to the castle which was good.
Lots of great walks around Stirling with lovely views all around.
Able to park on site for a fee
Breakfast buffet had a wide selection of food and hot
Staff were friendly and helpful
Bathroom requires updating but was clean and tidy
Le petit déjeuner est très copieux
L'emplacement est parfait
Le parking est pratique
The bed was very comfortable and the building had cool history.
The rooms felt rather outdated.
Location staff parking meals
the hotel itself was very nice and historic and clean
The breakfast was dreadful - hot food was cold and rubbery and staff were so busy they were a bit curt - very disappointing
Uncomfortable pillows
We liked the location and the staff were very helpful
There was nothing we didn't like.
Great location , lovely building with nice ambience
Room was dated and tired.
The building is lovely with an interesting history and the spa was a welcome and good value treat.
Evening staff were helpful and friendly, sadly the breakfast staff were lacklustre and surly.
The room was comfortable and good value but the hotel looks tired inside with stained chairs in the restaurant and carpets that need a good clean throughout. The food was ok, nothing special. The hotel is close to the town, just a 10 minute walk down the hill so maybe eat there instead.
