Decent room with comfy bed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Good safe car parking in a private courtyard.
Our smart bedroom door lock would not open the door, and it had to be replaced, which took a while, however, we went out for a walk while they did the work.
Room was ok breakfast was cold tha bar was closed at 10/30
The property is great . The hill is not for everyone.
Did not need to leave the hotel. Food was excellent and reasonable priced .
Posizione centrale, comodo e dotato di parcheggio
Il bagno avrebbe bisogno di ammodernamento
Third time I have been here and always have a great time
Läget och den historiska charmen
Jag fick en uppgradering Borg
Kylskåp var ett plus
Parkering var excellent
Badkar är inte bra
Avloppet fungerade dåligt
The room was very warm and quiet. Decor was perfectly fine, perhaps some would say 'dated' but I disagree. The pool was great and the location was fab. The staff were lovely, very helpful and friendly.
One of the beds was missing a mattress protector, but once staff was informed it was fixed immediately.
It is ideally located, there are some great views overlooking Sterling and onto the high peaks.
The car park for me was a bit of an issue, one or two cars taking up two spaces.
The location was good, lots of local food stops and shops to see, local history too
Our rooms were very draughty, the heavy curtains they put up don't help much either.. bunk beds for the kids weren't that good either.. my sons didnt jave much space... the bunk beds are more for 3 year olds, not a 6 and 10 year old. Broken lamps in kids room aswell.. rubbish WiFi signal, TV reception was rubbish too
All of it lovely old building with old and new but still keeping the same as it was all those years ago .location was great very close to all amenities plenty to do around the place.
Hotel is on a hill if you have difficulty walking it could be a small problem and lots of stairs but you are going to get that with a old building .
Location Close to town centre & Castle
New Charges
Pool ,Sauna etc £10 per Room
Parking £10
Tidy, clean, impressive location.
It was clean but tired and in need of refurbishment. Breakfast was average and the one coffee machine was oversubscribed.
Location and history of the building
Rooms are a little tired,
