Unpleasant
Pros:

Location, cleanliness and owner responsiveness

Cons:

There was no key in the external lockbox for self check-in, which required me to contact the owner to gain access. After entering, I discovered that the door to my room had been damaged and could not be locked. I reported this to the owner and was informed it had been caused by the previous occupant, but no action was taken to resolve the issue during my stay. As a result, I felt unsafe and was unable to sleep properly.

Peaceful location with a very attentive host.
Pros:

Rob was amazing. Very helpful and got in touch with me even before I had any questions to ask. The only thing I would suggest is to get a better system to stop the sun light from coming into the bedroom in the morning as one of the blinds were not working properly but this doesnt put me off from staying there again. In fact, I have booked already to go back two more times! The place was nice and the location was very good too. Itis also close to the water front and O2 Arena so it it is a nice areato go for a walk after work.

Cons:

Apart from the blind that wasnt working properly, everything else was fine. However, the blind is not a problem as with a new system or acurtains the proble is sorted!

Great base for our stay in London
Pros:

Clear instructions on arrival from Rob was allowed to park car for the 2 days which ment me and my daughter got more time to spend in London

Off-street parking is available (so not constrained by parking restrictions)

Cons:

One minor issue is that the floorboards creak a lot, so other guests moving is noisy (not the fault of the host or the guests)

Nice location, not quiet
Pros:

It’s located quite close to a station

Cons:

Unfortunately. It’s in need of safety repairs. It’s extremely creaky and I didn’t sleep for 3 days and eventually left for a hotel. Existing guests were smoking weed with loud music that woke me up at 4am. Smoking I can get over, but the noise was just too much!!

I will not stay again. I will say the host seemed to nice and friendly.

Pros:

Great location, easy check-in and relatively clean. Responsive and supportive host.

Cons:

Unfortunately there are no curtains and there's a lot of light coming in. Other guests may walk around the whole night and drop things on the floor which could wake you up.

Pay a little more to stay somewhere a little better. Much to improve.
Pros:

The property is located conveniently close to public transport.

Cons:

We agreed with the host to check in early. However, it seems this request was forgotten. As a result, we were moved to another share house next door. The quality of the share house was exceptionally poor. Whilst the owner of that house was nice, the house was unkempt, kitchen dirty, room dingy and had paint falling off, door dirty with wear marks and a bed so thin we touched the frame. The next day we were given access to our actual accomodation. Whilst this room was bigger and nicer, there were cracks in the mirror and mould on a side of the ceiling. Otherwise, it was generally clean. The kitchen was also clean but other guests clearly did not clean up after themselves leaving a pile of dirty dishes.

Additionally, in the new location, there was a guest who smoked cannabis and as a result, the entire property smelt like cannabis.

Friendly welcome from the member of the team on site

Cons:

We were staying here to attend a gig at the O2 and on a map it looks very close, but there's no decent direct route there. It's over an hour walk, or a 30 mins walk to the train station to get a tube or a £16 Uber ride there and back. Not the venue's fault, but something for people to bear in mind if that was the reason for their stay.
The room was large with it's own toilet, but very basic. There was a TV but it wasn't plugged in and there was no remote. I would have 'elegant' removed from the title

For the price it was acceptable. I won’t stay here again. I would rather pay the extra £30 and stay in a hotel.
Pros:

Bed was basic, clean and comfortable. The area is quiet and I was able to sleep but as a single female traveller I didn’t feel safe in that room. The lock just needs to be fixed and I hope they do. There’s also no fire extinguisher on the top floor and there should be. The room was warm and I’m glad it was cause I also couldn’t close the window so the bed was warm but the room felt really cold.

Cons:

The lock on my room door was lose, the first night I didn’t feel safe, the shower pressure not great but I was able to wash, the extraction fan was on its last legs. It turned off turned on turned off turned on.

Good value in a quiet area
Pros:

The view overlooking the small body of water with the bridge and some ducks is very nice and calming to look at.

Quiet and gives a sense of safety.

Very responsive and accommodating host.

Cons:

the property is old so the doors and the wooden floorboards makes loud noises. It is nevertheless tolerable for us.
